Some good shows mentioned, Lost, Prison Break etc.

Apart from these I would strongly recommend Studio 60 on the Sunset strip with Matthew Perry, Dexter and Life.

I didn't think too much of that Dexter programme. I watched the first five or six episodes on FX but quickly became bored with it.

Another couple of box sets that I own but forget to mention are the Michael Palin ones. I've got Pole To Pole and the one where he goes round the Pacific rim. Both are excellent and well worth a look if you feel like learning.

I keep meaning to start buying the Attenborough ones but never get round to it. Think I might have a look for the Blue Planet series once I get paid.

Haviing watched all series of The Sopranos and being up to date with Prison Break i am now looking for a new show to get into. I don't watch the shows when they are on Tv, I buy the DVD's so it doesnt matter if the show has been out for a while.

Am open to any suggestions?

Dexter is a brilliant wee program. There's two series out, both only 12 episodes. Michael C Hall is excellent in it.

Couldn't agree more. It did take a little while to get into it, but once I did I was hooked. Just finished watching the 2nd series the other week and it's even better than the first.

It's another Friends type comedy series. I'd give it an 'ok if there's nothing else worth watching', but if you're into that sort of thing, you'd probably watch it. That said, I love Friends, but all the others that have come along following it's footsteps don't do much for me.

As said before, The Shield is a fucking fantastic television programme - for me, better viewing than Prison Break and 24. Invest in the boxset.

House is amazing. Sarcasm at its finest.

I also quite enjoy scrubs and south park. If you haven't watched any of these, where have you been?

Yeah, that is great. Ari Gold is hilarious and Johnny Drama isn't too bad himself.

Some of the women that appear in the show are so ball-breakingly beautiful that I hang my head in shame and just wish that I could be Vincent Chase (even though he's not real). Just for one day :(

For those who are interested, and that should be all of you. Season 4 of Battlestar Galactica starts in the US on Friday night, so it should be available from all good torrent sites on Saturday morning.

So say we all! :D

I despise Friends (and I dont really like many american shows), but really liked this! I dont watch it avidly(only top gear, mitchell and webb, football, and the mighty boosh get that), but if its on and I have time, then Im more than happy to sit down and watch it.

Well worth a shot IMO.

I only got into 24 at the beginning of last year and I'm now currently on the 5th series. I think its the best thing I have ever seen. Once I am up to date I am going to start watching the Sopranos from the start.
