Renwick is truly an idiot of mammoth proportions.

Fair enough letting someone go if it is a tactical decision and you have raplacements lined up. But to let someone go cos you are in the huff with them is pathetic.

Clearly we are stuck with him as he is being allowed to make signings.

It's blatantly obvious that the board either reads or is informed as to the opinions of the supporters on this forum. As far as I can see nobody is behind the manager. We all expected him to make mistakes during his bedding in period, but apart from the Raith game we have been piss poor. Bad results and bad performances. If you take Diack and Thomson out there is nothing there.

Diack's departure speaks volumes for the way things are going. He obviously has no faith in the club or manager to bounce back or to be pushing for the title next year, and I for one don't blame him.

That will be the one who used to play for Edinburgh University. We were supposed to be getting a first division striker according to the official website.

That's the one according to official webby. Did anyone really believe we were going to get a striker from the first. No doubt that will be the way paved for Diack to leave.

2 starts and on 8 times as a sub this season at Cowdenbeath. 0 goals. They're all flocking to be part of the Renwick revolution at Berwick.

I see he didnt go on Radio Borders anyway. What a surprise!

The 1st div striker is still on the cards, a transfer fee has been agreed between clubs but the 1st div club in question are trying to bring in another player before they release him.

It is hoped that another new 2 players will join next week signing 18 month contracts.

Looks like a good 3rd division striker in my eyes so he is perfect for Berwick.

Good luck to him though!

A TRANSFER FEE!!!!!! Did they find the gate money then or are they accepting air miles.

Looks like the board are backing the manager to the hilt then. You've got to admire their confidence I suppose.

The only player at the Alloa game to acknowledge the Berwick fans who had travelled up during his half time warm up.Not much left to turn up for in my opinion.Cant be long before Robbie Horn and Gary Wood leave this shower of shit to get on with it.You could write another bookn on this seasons antics. What a joke.

If this is true, it is probably because he spoke up and the manager did not like what he was hearing. I hope I am wrong but loan signings are not going to save our season.
Of course no news from the board. Some of them are quick to get on the players backs and have heard one in particular shout abuse which is a disgrace for a director who should be getting behind the team.

According to papers today, Brechin are trying to get Diack now.

How old is the keep Berwick have signed? I'm still not comfy at playing them tommorow as it is at home.

If it's the same Peter Logan I'm thinking about, he must be 19 or 20 (round about). When my son was a 1st year at Falkirk (05-06) he played against Kilmarnock who had Peter Logan playing. If he was a 1st year himself then, he'll be around 19-20 now, if he was 2nd year, he'll be around 20-21.

So at this rather desperate time, the manager decides that Gary is surplus to requirements, and puts the Club in a position where, if Gary wants, he can sit in the stand each week and receive his wages for doing nowt.

Hoping of course, that Gary would not want to do this, and would rather play football somewhere else.

Interesting.

I, myself, would much rather see him in the stands and getting payed for f**k all, than move. This is because, Renwick clearly isn't going to last, he's a shite manager, and no one can deny it. I can see everyone related to the club starting to get annoyed with him, and he will inevetably get the sack. Then Gary O can jump back in the posts and things should be back to how it should be. I mean, don't get me wrong, Flockhart is a good keeper, but Gary O is ten times the player and Flockhart shouldn't be getting a look in atm IMO.

It was 2+11 sub, he scored 1 goal v Ross County back in August.

Really sad to see what's going on at Berwick just now, but why is John Martin copping a lot of flak?

As a side note, I saw John Martin play for Berwick back in 1992, during a pre season friendly in East Lothian (Prestonpans?). Mind, that was when we'd survived Administration and had let all out old players go, and before we brought the new ones in under Crease etc...

Disgusting to hear about Gary O. Apart from a great goalkeeper and a fantastic servant to the club he was also one of us, Berwick Rangers through and through.
Got a feeling Gary's departure maybe more down to Politics than football.
Have to laugh, Renwick must have a death wish because at this present period he needs as many allies and as much support as he can muster on the back of last weekend and this decision will make him public enemy No1 even more.
Good riddance Renwick! GTF where you came from.
