Sad but true.Probably more behind the decision that is being suggested here.As For John Martin in goal ,no,he wont be on the bench either if what i hear is right, but ,then again i may not be.

Has to have been a fall out with Renwick and/or John Martin. Will we get an official line from the club Bob?

This is absolutely disgraceful. I didn't think we could get any lower but to sacrifice someone like Gary O to prove the backing for the manager is beyond contempt.

It's time the club made an official statement to clarify just what exactly is going on. If not, then everything will be left to speculation and rumour. We do not want another cover up like the gate money scandal.

There will be huge problems at the next home game if this situation is allowed to continue.

Renwick out.

Linda La Plant couldn't make this shit up. Fuckin disgrace. Who does this p***k Renwick think he is. He warmed the bench for 8 years at Easter road however I think we all know where this will have come from, he's just the rather ridiculous mouthpiece.

I can't keep up.

Yesterday Berwick were great, they resigned Grant McNicholl and were letting fans who travelled to Peterhead free entry to the Raith match.

Today they are a shower of b*****ds for releasing a keeper.

Tomorrow they will be heros again for getting a 2-2 draw with Raith.

Here for a year, we're only here for a third year

It's seems a bit irrelevent who made the decision. Surely if this ship's every going to steady itself we need long term experience at the back, especially between the sticks? I cant see the point of a young keeper on loan at this stage. What the f*ck is going on?

I can only hope Gary O wasnt told in the car park :(

I disagree. I think its very important to know who made this decision and all the other stupid decisions which are currently being made. It seems to me that those in charge and ultimately making any decisions are incapable of doing so.

Absolutely. My point was, regardless who it was (and you're right, the fans need to know), that what matters is that we are losing another experienced guy who gives a shit about the club. Grim.

I suspect the board have taken the cheapest option by sacking O'Connor instead of taking the right option of sacking Renwick and his monkey Martin. O'Connor may not have been the best goalie in the world, but you knew he cared. You cannot say that about Renwick.

Unless there is clarification from the club then I can see big trouble looming.

I think we should be looking at a boycott of the next home game unless we are told the facts.
We have to show the board that they cannot take our patronage for granted. We are entitled to be heard.

Well said that man. A boycott is an excellent idea. How can this be taken forward?

Gary was at the book signing, and had the temerity to talk openly to supporters - signed his own death warrant, poor sod. Diack too - pattern emerging......

Give it another year and the players won't be allowed to travel to Berwick..... ;)

Sadly, as i said in an earlier post, my opinion is that some of the current Board could not care less if there were 500 or 200 fans in the ground. The consequence of that would be that finances would be revised and the manager, whoever it is, would be given even less to work with.

Ah so know the truth emerges Mr Bell. Scab. That Robbie Horn's no better - he'll be out the door next.

As I said, all the trust's fault.

Illustration - a proposal was put to the Chairman/Board last year of how they could give the manager an additional £10,000 a year to work with.

This would be achieved by the Club obtaining a bar licence, and charging guests to 'upstairs' on a match day for their drink - not to make a profit, just to cover the cost of the drink.

This was rejected by the Chairman/Board on the basis that the Club were known for their hospitality and they wanted to preserve this.

Hmm.....

The few times I met Gary he was always friendly and helped when he could. The last time was at the book signing when couldn't have done more. Well done Gary you are worth much more that the
shameful way you have been treated.

Its not really an easy decision for a board though. They are always likely to back the manager, as to be fair, in a player v manager row, the manager is the one who should be seen to be strong, or players could think they could get away with anything if they arent getting their way.

Not saying that this is the case here, and personally I would much rather see Renwick go than Gary, but if the board still feel they need to back the manager then you can hardly blame them. Its risky when the manager is so unpopular though.

The club need to come out with an official statement though. Its a must and as paying customers we need to know the reasons.

Also, John Martin. I have to say, I dont know much about him other than he acts like an idiot on the bench and used to swing on the bar in playing days. Is he just a divvy?

I'm sure a disruption of the cashflow would make them take notice. I was foolish enough to buy a season ticket expecting us to hold our own in this division. Can I get a refund for the dross I have witnessed so far and the garbage that is still to come before the end of the season. I fucking doubt it. They are treating us, the supporters, like shite. I will not be bought off with a complimentary neither.

Last season everything went right. This season everything has gone wrong. If they want the praise for success, then they have to take the blame for failure. We are a laughing stock. From what I've heard this morning Grant coming back is no certainty either. This is the very situation where you need players with Gary's experience to come to the fore.

God help us.
