The new keeper looked quite decent today, made a few good saves which kept the score limited to 3.

I would second that.

Dunfermline boss Jim McIntyre must be at a loss to explain the succession of goalkeeping howlers he's witnessed from the frazzled Pars this season. I'm picturing a scene akin to Basil Fawlty whacking his car repeatedly with a branch after deciding "enough is enough!"

Yes, he was the captain and he has been offically 'sacked'. Dispute with management Im lead to believe! Its utterly shocking.

I will no longer comment on this as I have just been sent a PM from one of our Board Members.

Not wishing to be intimidated any further for speaking my mind.

One can only assume all other critics on here will be receiving similar messages.

Thats what most of the directors go for, a bevvy after the match. They have not got a clue about football as the recent appointment of a manager shows. Although the new guys played quite well, most of the loan signings will not be there at the end of the season and how will we attract player in division 3 next year.

As O'connor was the captain is it not right that he asks questions on behalf of the players.

Crowds will get less and less for remainder of season. Not good news

I have only relayed what I have heard in the town today. It's a long story and to be honest I don't go to the matches much now due to the hassle and paranoia emulating from Shielfield Park.

I have supported BRFC since 1987 and until very recently had hardly missed a game home or away. The thing that sticks the most is that we all (all being Ducket regulars and pre-boardroom days directors) used to stand together and go to matches together.

I'm not prepared to go into any futher detail, suffice to say I'm fairly shaken up.

Interesting. Poor show treating players with such contempt but then we shouldn't expect anything eslse really.

I heard Gary was keen to get home to his kids and knowing Mr O'Connor he probably told involved individuals in no uncertain terms.

Looking forward to this official statement.

again I can only go on hearsay (not the dodgy manufactured band) - I hadn't heard this until today.

Apparently Mr O'Connor was told he was a bad influence in the dressing room and to stay from the football club by the manager??

Unbelieveable considering his contribution to the winning of the title last year and by all iaccounts one of the most popular guys in the dressing room.

Fair enough. It's really sad that you can't speak your mind without threats from your club directors though. Reminds me of Colin McGowan a bit. I have to ask why your directors are on P&B in the first place though. Obviously on here, they are open to scathing criticism and i'm surprised they want to see themselfs being slated.

The whole thing stinks and this is just another embarrasing event during an embarrasing season.

I have had no grudge against the board but always thought with local people in charge the club would be safe from all this mis management.

How wrong can you be.

The only thing missing is a takeover with the possibility of relocation.

Gary o told to go. What??????

After last weeks drubbing and the public slating of the players the carrot top picked to represent the club he should of done the honourable thing and returned under the rock he crawled out from.

If the club had 10 more players with passion of Gary we would be sitting in mid table at the worst.

Hoy Reckitt. Remember what happened to Gullit when he tried to chase Shearer out of Newcastle.

Power to the people. Renwick out! Renwick out!

Go now you ginger p***k.

I'm remaining neutral (and not usually even posting), for various reasons, on the various club-manager-board-players-fans things at the moment. However, can someone (manager, board, player or fan) clarify something for me. (1) is Gary definetely not going to play for Berwick R again; (2) is he still contracted and waged to the club; (3) if yes to both, what are the reasons for this? Genuinely, I'm confused with rationale.

Renwick was always a crap and baffling appointment for Berwick. He clearly feels threatened by established players who are brave enough to front up to him. Now that you are all but safely relegated i would welcome a new managerial appointment at Berwick, but please wait until next weeks game against Cowden is over ;) .

MartyJ, I have every sympathy with your clubs plight currently, and your own shock.

However, let me assure you that it wouldn't be the first occasion indignant and intimadating PM's have been recieved by a fan of a club in this division by a board member of that club. ;)

Well ive read all the posts on here and i must say that i think we are all thinking the same! For a chairman wilson dosent like coming out and speaking about the football club we hear very little fom him on wats going on at the club. you would think that with an ego like his he would never be out the paper just like the bandits gadgie! i think he is only in it so he can swan around bedrocks or cashmere on a saturday night with his "offical" club blazer trying to impress a load of young boots!! I think the time has come for a full change at this club from top to bottom if only a proper loyal berwick fan could come into money and get this club built back up and be respected instead of a laughing stock!!! so mr wilson i think its time you started speaking up GARY O YOUR A FECKING LEGEND!!!

The most factual and correct posting that has been posted on this forum mate. Well said ;)

GARY O = LEGEND

RENWICK = FECKWIT

WILSON = FECKWIT

THE REST = AS ABOVE

that is a fucking joke. O' Connor was one of the few players who always welcomed the youth players when they were given a chance. always full of encouragement and good advice. made them feel welcome unlike the majority of th squad who thought they had made it in football and were too "big time" to speak to the youngsters. really cant see how he could be anything other than a very positive influence in th dressin room

They can have a go at me if they like. I refuse to be intimidated for speaking my mind and what I believe is the truth. Why don't they put an official statement out and clarify ALL the issues in one go and then everyone can concentrate on trying to turn this round.

I want what is best for Berwick Rangers. If that means a new manager, or board, then so be it.

You're right it is a fuckin joke, when my lad was mascot a couple of seasons ago, Gary, Grant McNicol & Coff took time out to make him feel welcome and Gary still acknowledges him if he sees him in the ground (or he did until he became Mr Evil and a bad influence).

To the Board member who likes to throw is weight about I challenge this

I will personally in my own time and expense travel up to Berwick from Peterborough where you can explain to me how OUR club has become such a state
Where I believe above the dressing room it states "We are all winners or all losers" when our current manager was fast enough to BLAME <_< the players after Peterhead.
How certain people who have given 110% to the club are cast aside and dumped.

Why Club/Trust/Supporters Club cannot pull together

Someone needs the Nuts to stand up and take responsiblity.

SO COME ON MR BOARD MEMBER COME AND TALK TO ME I DARE YOU :o
