Rumour has it long serving goalkeeper Gary O'Connor was told he had no future at the club and informed to find another club. All this just months after helping the club win the third division championship and in his testimonial year too. A great way to treat another long standing servant of the club.

That is a fucking piss take, how many games could it have been 10-0 if not for Gary O's saves

Well nothing surprises me what comes out from the corridors of Shielfield Park these days.
If this is true it's a total disgrace, the whole place is swithering from one disaster to another.

Should be interesting what excuses are given to his departure. No doubt it will be someone else's fault apart from the people who made the decision, it usually is.

 I hope Renwick has a very good reason for this!   He's hardly going to get fans back onside with decisions like this!

I wouldn't be surprised if we signed him. We only have one senior goalie (McCulloch) and have been struggling to find back up. I liked O'Connor at Bayview but he did make some howlers. Would certainly welcome him back though.

I would assume so. Maybee not but I can't see why anyone else would want rid. Renwick hasn't picked him since the new year.

You couldn't make it up.

I concur, official statement please confirming or denying this.

If this is Renwick's choice, what right has this little p*** got to get rid of Gary - he won't even be here next season.

Scab John Martin going in the sticks then at Starks Park?

Where do I start?

The best thing I can describe is that the club is being run in a similiar way to your club was being run by Derek Brown. The only difference we have three in charge who I can only describe like the three leading parts in the 1970s Kids TV Programme Rainbow in George, Bungle & Zippy. I'll let you decide who is who.

The short comings on the football side are there for all to see. An inexperienced manager who is appears to be on a kamikazee suicide mission by constantly throwing untried youngsters into the battle ground of division when most of them are woefully out of their depth (apart from Staunton). If there was ever time we needed experience in the trenches it's now but Renwick seems to think otherwise.

Apparently Gary was informed of the decision at training last night. Nothing as yet announced by the club though.

Sad but true.Probably more behind the decision that is being suggested here.As For John Martin in goal ,no,he wont be on the bench either if what i hear is right, but ,then again i may not be.
