Im going for a 2-0 home win. Although we will need to start playing better.
Peterhead wont be an easy game.

To follow: Carlos with the Stats and The Jailender with his review which Flith and Staggy4life will agree with  .

Hope all the Staggie Family have a good new yr. This is my last post of the yr.

The way we've been playing recently you are in for an easy 3 points and a chance to boost your goals tally. Our only hope of getting anything out of the game is to go up there and try to defend...

Firstly it looks like there should be no problem with the game being on, The pitch was fine yesterday and we've had no frost over night, and the forecast is looking good for tonight.

As for the game, County need to do something we haven't managed all season so far, and that is win a third game on the trot. We need to do this just to keep the pressure on Raith, meaning this weekends game at Starks Park could be huge for both clubs.

But before that we have to concentrate on the Peterhead game. County have won both games against them this season, but both by a a single goal margin. Ironically a lot of people have slated the Peterhead keeper this season, but he was all that stopped Peterhead getting a right doing in the first game in Dingwall, and although he costs a goal in the game in Peterhead in November, he still managed to pull of a string of excellent saves that day..

County have signed Partick's winger Adam Strachan on a six month deal, so he is now available for selection, he has been training with the club for around 3 weeks now, and played a couple of bounce games with the team, it was just the signing restrictions that have stopped him from playing in the first team, so hopefully he is already settled and able to slot into the team.

Defensively I think we are still a little weak, I'm not sure what is happening with Scott Boyd, his loan deal has expired although he was still with the squad on Saturday at Hampden, but I'm not sure if he is re-joining us or not.

Adam Strachan is going to be very, very interesting. Give our record of signings made at this time of year, I'll guess he plays about ten games between now and the end of the summer, but is released and ends up at Ayr or Stranraer.

I know the Partick guys on the first division forum were saying the Scott Boyd deal is a done one, but maybe Sean Webb will get a chance?

From what I'm hearing I think Sean Webb is going to extend his loan deal with Achrington Stanley.

Im going to be blazing for this one, I will need to read Fryrish's Report !

A Bannana skin encounter, Due to the current form of both sides but although results are keeping County up there, their performances have been low tempo to say the least.

They aren't alot of stats for our encounters with Peterhead. This will be the fourth meeting in the SFL and we have won all previous encounters by one goal each time. This is only Peterhead's second visit to Victoria Park since election.

I imagine it will be a bigger than usual crowds as alot of people have been back for Xmas or New Year. I imagine County will win this one also, but history suggests it will be the one goal. 1-0.
You will retire me, but Iniesta will retire us both.

I don't think we need to worry about them TJE, Airdrie are more of a concern (and have been since day one).

Battle of the 'Highlanders' tomorrow, I think we should be able to win this one. They will be without easily their biggest threat in attack and post Christmas/New Year Bobby Mann shouldn't strike fear into the hearts of our attack.

2-0.

no offence guys but this is a fucking public forum frequented by fans of all clubs, if you didn't want others commenting on it you would have been better putting it on the County website.
What does a scanner see? he asked himself. I mean, really see? Into the head? Down into the heart? Does a passive infrared scanner like they used to use or a cube-type holo-scanner like they use these days, the latest thing, see into me—into us—clearly or darkly? I hope it does, he thought, see clearly, because I can’t any longer these days see into myself. I see only murk. Murk outside; murk inside. I hope, for everyone’s sake, the scanners do better. Because, he thought, if the scanner sees only darkly, the way I myself do, then we are cursed, cursed again and like we have been continually, and we’ll wind up dead this way, knowing very little and getting that little fragment wrong too.

Get your dummy back in your mouth, it was a joke aimed at the "uppity basturts" comment. As proved by yourself there, Raith are indeed the uppity basturts.

Peterhead have signed Rory MacAllister on loan from us for a month. County better watch out now!

Barrowman makes it 2-1 right on the stroke of half time.

If MacAllister isn't going to have an impact, another ex-Tink Blobby Mann has.

Get in there. 3-1.

Scullion of Cowdenbeath hasn't done his team any favours though...

I wish i had forgotten about this game.

Maybe that will start the ball rolling on getting some of the waste of money out of Balmoor we have.

 i noticed that on the team sheet before the match and wondered if it was himself from caley. He didnt make much impact due to the dominance of us. :)

He started on the left wing and played centre-mid for half of the 2nd period.
Adds abit of width and pace on the wing and to our midfield which we have lacked this season. Always willing to take people on and i thought he was superb as was most of our players today. :D
