A crucial game for the Methil Milan tomorow, one we will have to work hard to win after the recent disasters. We'll need the Fife support to get right behind the players from the word go, seeing as we're away from home that won't be a problem, and I hear Angusfifer is back in the country too!

If we can get a couple of early goals then we can really launch a backlash for the two defeats and re-ignite our title campaign.

I'll be glued to Sky Sports news for the game, it's probably for the best i'm not there anyway, a complete jinx.

I saw us hump Forfar 3-0, thats the only league game I had been at up until Saturday, but during our good run I was up in Fife and managed to take in the Morton friendly and Pars game in the Fife cup, we lost both, and then I saw us lose to Arbroath, so i'm better off out the way

Going by our last 2 games, which were both away to each of these sides, I'd expect a high-scoring game, with East Fife edging it.

However, East Fife are certainly dodgy at the back against quick forwards and Rovers do have a bit of pace going forward, which certainly undone us at times.

Aye he did but the Fife faithful are doing their best to keep him in a job and digs south of the border to keep him the hell away. It's costing us a fortune but so far it's been worth it. ;)

I believe the broken bottle pic will be rearing it's ugly head at 4.45 again!

This will be a dire game with Fife trying their HOOF football on the crappy turf.

See, one of the annoying things about (surely the only one thing!), is that I am annoyingly optomistic. I never ever start a day thinking that we will be defeated. I would hope that our team doesn't think that either. I am confident that we will get back to winning ways and that we have the team character to do so. I also don't care if it is a crappy game. As long as we score more than the Wee Rovers.

**I don't care if anybody quotes me on that later coz I will not allow negative thoughts to enter my head.

Missed the game today due to illness (no drink this time was involved).

Great to get back on track and maybe I should stay away more often like Russian boy.

Easy win in the end but it was looking a bit like a draw was all we would take from the game. Albion were fast on the break but this helped us when we retained possesion and steamrollered our way to victory.

Has to be said Cliftonhill is the worst playing surface I've seen and the toilets are almost as bad as Cowdung but not quite.

Coatbridge does have a fine pub in Big Owens though, surely one of the best pubs on the away travels.

Good summing up. Decided to along to see the Mighty Rovers v the Champions elect. ;) as it was my nearest senior game.
East Fife were struggling for a while with Rovers missing some great chances. I did say to the other Blues fan with me at 1-1 that I felt EF would more than likely score later on. They overpowered Albion towards the end.

A second sickener in four days. Just like Stranraer on Boxing Day, we got ourselves back into the match only to fall apart soon after drawing level.

Fair play to East Fife though, they were the better side and kept plugging away. That's a tactic that will always prove successful against a defence and goalkeeper who suffer badly from lapses in concentration.

Amazingly, we're only three points off the playoffs, but I continue to have doubts that we're consistent enough to finish fourth. The next three games will be a pretty good indication of our playoff prospects - we have Dumbarton (A), Stenhousemuir (H) and Elgin (A). 7 points from those and we're in with a shout, especially if we could manage a victory against Stenny.

We were shocking in the first half but that 2nd half performance was as good as we've played all season, nobody in this league can live with us when we play like that and it was good to see Craig O'Reilly back to his best.

I thought Rovers were fairly decent, they were very good going forward. What an arse John Gemmell is though.
