So, my friends, who on here of a DFC disposition is actually going along this coming Tuesday ? I will be very much a late fitness test, my deep-rooted affection for the Sons now having been stretched to breaking point by the latest antics of the Chuckle Brothers, whilst the Shire should also hang their heads in shame.
I'll make two predictions; if the match goes ahead on Tuesday evening we will see the lowest attendance at The Rock since it opened and secondly, of the 32 players on duty at least 26 will be in the pub on Boxing Day.....family holiday my arse !!!

is it defo tuesday? i was told the other day it was wednesday. if it's tuesday then i will be fully fit and able to make it. it will be a tough decision whether to go or not, i know i'll end up going along even though i'm skint and very unhappy at the decision to reschedule the game.

The answer is yes, so, what is the question?

Good for you for sticking to your principles. I'm sticking to mine and going to watch the lads.
Ridin' down the highway, goin' to a show, stop in all the by-ways, playin' rock 'n' roll,
Gettin' robbed, gettin' stoned, gettin' beat up, broken boned,
Gettin' had, gettin' took, I tell you folks it's harder than it looks,
It's a long way to the top if you wanna rock''roll..

Go on - it's character-building. No gain no pain. Or to quote Nietzche “What does not kill me, makes me stronger”.
Unless you've something better to do.

Supporting Arbroath = the best of all possible worlds. Gayfield Park = stairway to heaven. The team and fans = the worst in the league, apart from all the others. Everything is rosy in our garden

I'm going, I wouldn't miss the chants of 'Chivas, Chivas, Get To F***' for anything.

I'll be there. Because of work commitments I wasn't at the last home game and won't be at the next one. I need my 'fix' particularly with the Sons flying just now! Plus we all need to say a proper goodbye to Clark and Hillcoat
.

Although I was infuriated by the incompetence of this game going ahead tomorrow, if I was in Dumbarton and in a position to go, I would.
The team comes first.
MacFarlane is definitely going this season, which I think augurs badly for DFC.

Stand not upon the order of your going but go.
You can sit in front of a nice warm fire when you're old enough for the nursing home. Until then, suffering is required

Enough suffering here.
I've had a season ticket for 25 years and this is the first home game I've missed without being otherwise engaged. i.e. I'm doing f**k all else, but still not going.
It's like deja vu, all over again.

Work commitments mean I can't go. However, even if I could make it I'm not sure I would. It's time to send a clear message to those in charge of this sinking ship.

I won't be there either. Works xmas party on Tuesday which I paid for when the game was scheduled for Boxing day. I won won't be missed anyway as I have a season ticket, so not very happy as I have therefore paid for the game aswell. Thanks for fcuk all, as long as the ES players can get shit-faced over there xmas dinner then all is well with the world...

I'm sure the Sons fans on here would like you to expand on that. How are you so sure and why will it augur badly?

If you are a Dumbarton fan and don't because you are 'boycotting' it, then in my eyes you can;t be much of a real fan.
The change of date gives players more time off with their respective families. I bet you are either greatful for, or scramble for an extra few days of at Christmas?
