We had an irish referee for our demolition of Cowdenbeath last year. Similar pish standard served up...

now that pele has sobered up enough to realise that jamie buchan is a midfielder and not a right back ,we are actually passing the ball about a bit better so the hampden park should suit us.
good news for queens fans is that bavidge is out so it should see us starting andy bagshaw up front!!

ref spoiled the game but he did get the decision about the dive right
a point gained rather than a 2 points lost for us as we did not deserve to take anything

Didn't have a clear view of the incident for the second yellow so can't really comment on it, just a pity the (out of his depth) referee forgot that he had already booked Trouten and had to be reminded by the far side linesman that he had to show Trouten a red card.
Thought we played well enough to take all three points, even with ten men for 40 minutes, but the Peterhead keeper made a few good saves and we passed up a couple of really good chances.

Felt we should of walked away with all 3 points today. McGrady had some glorious chances which he successfully screwed up which was disappointing. Ketts played fantastic however and it's good to see molloy playing well again

Anyway, to the game. A draw was a fair result because we couldn't put the ball in the back of the net when it mattered. Peterhead were decent enough defensively, but didn't pose too much of a threat offensively. Still, a point when we are down to ten men is fine by me.

That the ref didn't notice that he'd alreadty booked him sums up refereeing this year. Just what is the point in this exchange thing with Northern Ireland? All we know now is that they're just a bad over there as they are here.
We had stacks of chances in that first half and the game should have been over before the first 45 was out. Peterheid didn't look up to much, but they got a draw and that's what counts. Is Bobby Mann the new Mark Yardley? He's HUUUUUUUGE!

Hopefully the red card will give him the kick in the arse he needs to cut the diving out of his game entirely. Cracking player but his diving sickens me.

You are aware that is actually possible for the impact of a challenge to make you fall over on a football park without it being a dive or a foul?
This was the case on Saturday. The booking was ridiculous. Just another fanny ref trying to put himself in the spotlight. We should send Chris Boyle over to Ireland for some payback.
re the actual game. Happy with a point. OK we had the better chances on the break and should have scored a second but with the ten men we also had to sit in and defend a lot and I thought the centre of defence was superb. Ketts was also outstanding in midfield and produced perhaps a goal saving tackle in the second.

Yes, of course. He did go down very easily though and the linesman had a much better view than anyone in the stand. Even if he didn't dive on this occasion, he does do it and he should be knocking it on the head. QP players aren't above criticism you know
