If this had been posted at the start of last week this would have been a definite goer, I had been trying to get hold of someone at the Bar underneath the stand at Palmerston but the phone just kept ringing out, our club has a committee meeting tonight so I'll put it to the rest of the lads and see what they say.
I'll be in touch one way or the other.
Overthetop what do you reckon is a decent traveling support at this level? Our support is slightly down on last year but I reckon we'll top 500.

At the moment the only thing that will stop us coming in is time, like I said we hope to do the journey in round about 2 hours, I have your phone number and will advise just after midday on Saturday but I'm sure everything will be fine.
Cheers Jim

Was suppossed to be going on the train for this but a few of the younger lads cant afford it so we're spread amongst several buses. Think one or two will be on the Albert. Seven or more of us will be on the Spinnaker bus, the rest are on norseman and in cars so time permitting some of us might try and get dropped off at the Lochar Inn and just get taxi's to the ground.

Norseman I don't think are running a bus to this game, I'm sure they phoned us at the Albert but we were full so their names were passed onto the Spinny.

Since the Lochar is pretty much the same distance from Palmerston on the same road as our office and I drive it once or twice a week I can confirm that it............
...............depends entirely on how busy the traffic on the bypass is.
You could easily do it in less than ten minutes if it's quiet. On a busy day it could take nearer 20 minutes. It's about three miles or so.
I'd say ten minutes is pretty fair though I wouldn't want to leave the Lochar at 2:50 and presume to get to Palmerston on time!
