"Must admit though the EF fans are funny, a wee bit of success at the bottom of the footballing world and you'd think they were watching Barcelona,"

We don't think we are watching Barcelona. As far as we are concerned we are better than THEM. And definately best team in the Third DIV as the league table shows.

Stranraer 0 - 2 East Fife

The highlights of the game on Satuday, you can watch the free-flowing passing style of Stranraer as they force Scott Fox into 1 save. Excellent!

What about Tade's showboating though even EF fans would admit you don't see stuff like that very often in div 3.

Do you get points for show boating now?
"We need a commercial manager. He would be a more important signing than another player. As for Baikie, he did a lot to drag Arbroath into modern footbal. Many of the improvements, ie Youth manager, Stand improvements etc. came indirectly from Baikie. This is not a slight on Brownlie, but Baikie made the club more professional and madde a big difference on all levels. Come to think of it, what happened to the young lichties club, and our mascot....."

I wouldn't say he was showboating (can you ever really showboat when you're getting beat?). He is a very talented player but maybe lacks the end product, which goes for Stranraer overall if you watch this highlights.

Those highlights make it look as though the game was all Strantaer and East Fife nicked two jammy goals.

I'll have to watch the footage for a 3rd time to see where he was showboating. I thought he was just passing the ball. Mind you, he is a good player and part of a team that the Stranraer fans say are definitely the best footballing team in the league. :P

There is never any sound at Stranraer home games.

Just like East Fife home games then ;)
In our racing stripes, we rejoice at being "connected"
Without touching, thank god for the internet
We stare at our screens, all our lives, what a waste of eyes
'Till the electrical storm blows our fuses
And we gaze, dumbfounded, at the rain

The end product is ok most of the time, his goalscoring ratio from midfield is good as is the amount of goals that he has assisted in, he can either be fantastic or trip over the ball but if he was great all the time we would not have him he would be at a big club like East Fife.

I can't tell wheather that's tongue in cheek there but I was wondering if Dave Baikie was considering making a move for him at some point.

Sorry my mistake. Or was it deliberate!!! ;) Can't be bothered to sort it as we lost. Who wants to hear East Fife fans cheering anyway :( ;)

I know. It's still a great thing for yous to have. I saw the Stranraer v Arbraoth highlights and it looked like Stranraer murdered them, I just didn't realise the higlights were so Stranraer heavy.

We did dominate against Arbroath though. Just couldn't get that vital second and lost a stupid last minute goal.

That is brilliant! If I was in charge of footage for our team, I would do exactly the same if we lost! Infact, I may not even have bothered to show the oppositions goals! Your comments made me smile!

I used to just put the Stranraer goals on. This season I put in 3 minutes worth of action. Saturday was a particularly crap game for a Stranraer fan. Mind you watching it again both teams were pretty poor. I'll put that down to the poor conditions and the ref. ;)
