He's injured and out for most of the rest of the season by the looks of things.

Whether or not he'll be anywhere near as good since his injury remains to be seen, but IMO he had lost a yard or two during last close season anyway.

Such a waste of a talent I'm afraid.

Thats a pitty as he was good for the dees before he lost his temper and got banned for the 8 matches!
Hope he recovers sooner than expected and gets yous back in the first division.
Judging what he had to say in his book he had big ideas for ayr this season, he says the manager seems to know what hes doing,
Anyways, cheers

Yep, Neil Watt knew what he was doing for sure, signing Stranrank's numpty reserves before buggering off when it all was going tits up.

To be honest it wasnt as good as i expected but still defintley worth a read!
I was hoping for more about other players and managers that he has worked with during his career but mostly its about his personal life and the amount of drink and drugs he has consumed over the years.
Having said that, i couldnt put it down and read in a day and a half lol.

Great player, such a talent.

Could be back for a few games at the end of the season if all goes well. He'll have to do what he did last season and save us from relegation. :(
It's my solo party, it's my body, and if I choose to abuse it with my lifestyle and my music
What the f**k! I can't lose! It's my life! Why is it I can't keep you far enough away?

is it true his next book is called " Even more Tormented" because he had sunk so low as to sign for Ayr?

how sad to see his career fall from the heady days at Killie when he won a Scotland cap.....

No, it's not true, but even if it were there wouldn't be a cartoon version with crayons, so you'd be left out.

It will of course mean the strip you get at the end of the season will be hardly worn...I assume they give the sponsor the players strip of course.

I reckon Andy Mclaren will go into management at some stage of his career.
Did he put his name forward for the Ayr job recently?

Nobody had the chance to put there name forward as neil Watt resigned on the Monday and Reid got the job on the Tuesday.

Craig David has yet to complete the rest of that week in song for us...

Get David Craig, he'll be cheaper.

Andy McLaren is the stroppiest whingiest git ever to play football. Which is a shame as he was / is a good player.

I'd like to see Mclaren do well.
So what if he's taken drugs and liked a good drink, I would dislike everyone I know if I took offence to those vices!

What a sensible post and one I've always been in complete agreement with. :)
