One of the coldest nights I have ever experienced
Still though, I thought we did well considering the standard of opposition. I thought big Zander was immense yet again but what the f**k were Foster and Clark playing at? They missed last weekend against United and came back into the team last night and were absolutely shocking.
We seemed to resort back to this long diagonal punt nonsense and I don't know why. We played some excellent football last weekend when we tried to keep the ball on the deck and use the pace in the squad to punish the opposition. Last night we went back to "punt the ball to Miller and look for a knockdown". Not good.
Aluko had a few moments of brilliance but he was marked out of the game. Shame really.

Milners WTF were you on about earlier? Panathinaikos were the worst team youve seen but these were the best. You been on drugs? Or just want to disagree.
This team was unbelievable quick the pass and move of them was something else last night, obviously watching on tv you may not see the movement they was making. It was really hard in the first half to get the ball back although punt punt punt didn't help. Panathinaikos also watching them in the flesh and i couldn't believe how shite they was, they was there for the taking they really was and was no way on a patch of Dnipro or Loko in terms of football ability. I'm amazed Pana won last night but Loko was the best side and if you ask most dandys that was at the match last night and most would agree they was the best european side we have watched this season.
I've just pissed off that we have not played well against Loko or Pana.

Felt that a point was fair, neither team deserved to win. Aberdeen really frustrate me, the Utd game prior to this was a fantastic game, played some excellent football on the deck. When we played football on the deck against Loko we looked dangerous. But oh no, let's resort to puntign the ball into the wind and see what Lee Miller can do, oh he's won another header, but there's no one to support, as usual. GET THE BALL DOWN AND PASS IT!! Aluko was fantastic first half, they doubled up on him though and no one else took the mantle to try and make something happen.
They seemed to open us at will though, with their intracite one touch passing, good lesson for our boys. Considering they have a couple players being tracked by Chelski (one of them scored tonight for Russia against Isreal, wish he scored a hat trick though!!) and considering the higher standard of players they have, the budget they can spend and the conditions on the night im quite happy for a point. Just yet again a missed opportunity. We're all but out of the comp now but we just have to enjoy it! Use all our experience gained from this year in next year's comp!!!
