Ive not been on p&b all that long but what i have noticed is a lot of fans seem to be judging dundee in a totaly different light from our own supporters do!
Biggots????
Thats a crazy notion as I can honestly say, hand on heart that we dont give a flying f**k about rangers or religion (inside of the game).
When watching an old firm game, i can guarantee there would be just as many fans wanting celtic to win as rangers, thers is no favoritism!
We sing a song with "Dundee Derry Boys" in it but that means nothing about protestants or catholics to us.
Its about time some of you out there put this theory to bed as its simply not true.
Hopefully there will be no silly remarks made to this post as all i am trying to do is set the record straight.
Dundee care about dundee and dundee alone!

Why is it that the Dundee fans sing a version of a song that most other supporters have long since binned because of its association with Rangers?

Why do the Dundee fans associate themselves with 'the Derry Boys', a sectarian organisation from Northern Ireland?

Until the Dundee fans bin this song then I'm afraid the bigot nonsense won't go away......

Looking forward to Gibralter Dees throwing his Dundee Derry Dummy out the pram again.

I would take it that Dundee fans like most Accies fans would only care about their own club although you always get some who like either half of the old-firm.

There are many songs used at football that are used with different words, Just because Rangers or Celtic use the same songs doesn't mean your a bigot .

If Accies fans started signing an Elton John song would that mean they were all poofs who supported Watford ?
