The first half was pretty even, and while we were far from good, we were competing and it was a game between two sides who both looked pretty poor. However it was the same story as what we've seen so often in the last year and a bit - as soon as our team goes a goal down, the game's pretty much over. While Livingston played OK and certainly deserved to win, I didn't think they were that good to be honest, and in a sense it hurt more today because we were humped by a team who looked far shorter on ability to me than either Hamilton or Stirling did in the other two humpings. The first goal was a very good header as there were two defenders on him at the time, the second - WTF was that? Maybe it just summed up the situation we're in just now, and if it wasn't my own team it would almost have been funny to watch that goal. Good goal in the last minute though, really well hit that one.
I don't even know how I really feel about this any more - I suppose I'm kind of resigned to long term pishness, and I'm really just counting down the days until the end of the current contracts, when at least we might be able to make a start at turning it round, whatever division we might be in by then. I suppose as football fans we probably all accept that we'll have to go through a bad spell, but the last few weeks has certainly been the worst run of 3 results in a row in my time watching the Pars since 1989. I'm not sure if it's happened or not, but I certainly don't remember 3 hammerings in a row like this, even in the Premier. It goes in cycles as we all know, and I'm sure we'll be back in better form some time in the future - doesn't make it any easier to accept though. I really just hope that the club is still around to be able to make such a recovery.
