Jesus christ.

I'll say it again.

A REFEREE SHOULD BE ABLE TO RELY ON HIS ASSISTANTS !!! That's what happened at Hamilton and that's the shit arse excuse you have come up with this time. You hit something dead on the head ...

Now, I don't think Templeman is good enough as a goal scorer in this division. However, as a player, he can be an asset, and he was definately underused because of Stirling's play. The people in this thread that say Stirling outplayed us are absolutely right. They adapted and realised what it took to deal with us and got it sorted. Templeman had a decent chance towards the end btw, and he never took the shot.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH.

domdom come on down its time to play.....SPOT.THE.JOKE! for our mystery star prize.

btw stirling fans, who was your goalkeeper, he looked a bit of a liability and i dont feel we exploited this weakness enough, id have been lofting crosses in and having shots from distance all day long.

Eh ?....first game we played last season the Beanos equalised with a last minute penalty...Morton did not have or miss a spot kick in this match

well maybe it was the 2nd home game against you then? iremember a match against stirling where weatherson missed a penalty.

EDIT: it seems it was against ayr. funny how your memory plays tricks on you. anytime ive thought of that game its always been stirling.

maybe i eventhought it was stirling we were playing when i was at the game

I like playing Morton, basically because I think tactically Moore has Jim McInally in his pocket every time. They just don't know how to play us.

Not really much I can add to 4+ pages. We started poorly but gradually found our feet and were excellent at the start of the second half. After the sending off Morton dominated without creating much and overall a draw was fair. The ref favoured Morton and McKenna's red card was harsh, although the penalty was a stonewaller.

Scott Christie. Moore put him in the team instead of Myles Hogarth against Partick 3 games ago in what seemed like a truly bizarre decision as Hogarth has done little wrong this season. He played very well that day and so kept his place. The last 2 games he's had a few dodgy moments and I can't help but think it will all end in tears. He is, however, a young lad so hopefully he just needs the experience to improve his game and cut out those errors.

hogarth usually plays a blinder against us as well, thought he must have been injured or something.

Didn't really notice him until the goal, to be honest. Who's your number 11? He had a cracking game.

That would be Nathan Taggart, he did play well going forward but he forgets to work when the other team has the ball which contributed to the amount of space Kevin Finlayson got all game.

Yep, McInally tweaks it often for playing Stirling but Moore usually comes out on top. Considering all 4 games last season, I don't think we're ever going to see Weatherson at right back when Taggart's on again, as that caused us major problems many times.

Thought Christie was again very solid yesterday.

That'll be apart from the two he let slip out of his grasp and then recovered and the one he fumbled on the line before catching at the second attempt.

You've got it spot on mate, wish we had a manager like Moore, or at least someone with half a brain.

Talking of McInally it must be interesting for Morton fans to hear some of the things he says post match. This time the papers have him saying that once we scored he thought the Ton would be lucky to get a point. Perhaps not the kind of things a fired up home support would expect their manager to be saying when the match is 1-1 and plenty of time left...unless he's admitting that he was helpless to change the course of the match...which would be a hell of an admission.

He's determined and focused. Great to see him in the Albion team. Been looking at the Albion team lists for a while to see if he's close to getting a start. About time- Hogarth's a bit of a shit goalie and Christie deserves his chance. From what I've heard he's got the potential to be a top keeper. Can't wait to see him live against the Accies.

I feel sorry for McInally but he's not a good manager. Not at all.

He seems like a nice enough guy, but as you say he's not a good manager.

I feel sorry for McInally cause he is a good manager and is doing a fine job, but still doesn't get credit when deserved and gets pelters for daring not to win a game..

I don't agree with the pelters he gets but I just think he's tactically inept.

I'd have liked him to have done a better job in the transfer window. This is where my main gripe with him is. It was obvious that we needed experience at the back, and JM never delivered it, even after acknowledging himself that experience was needed.

On a completely separate issue what do the Morton fans think of their strip this season...personally I preferred the darker blue to the washed out version you have this season
