I think the game at the Nou Camp will suit our style; They will have to come and attack us and we can counter attack, possibly even nick a win.Thomson's suspension creates a bit of a problem though.

Not really
If Hemdani is fit he would likely have been in anyway so we can have him as the lynchpic and Bazza slightly in front of him in a 5 man midfield

It would have been preferable to have Thomson and Hemdani playing though.
I suppose it will probably lead to Charlie Adam being gifted another chance in midfield, while I like Adam's confidence and showboating, I feel he has'nt been hitting top form recently.

you huns need to learn some respect for world class players.
slagging off messi, booing henry and ronaldinho. uneducated football fans. one of the great things about seeing your team in europe is seeing other teams like barca and their players.

To be honest I think he's right, Rangers were playing a 4 across the back with basically 3 defensive midfielders, two wingers and a lone striker. Barca had literally no way through.

You've basically just described last night's game - it'll be much of the same I'm sorry to say, although surely with at least one Barca goal this time.

I think they settled for a point last night; They did'nt really come at us and attack us full on - although they did have a lot of possession.
Neither goalkeeper had a lot to do.
You could be right, it could end up like yesterday, but I feel they will need to really push for a goal, as they wont be allowed to produce a performance like yesterdays at home, and a draw would be considered a poor result for them.
Subsequently I think they will commit more players to attack, and we should utilise Beasley and, ideally, Darcheville to catch them on the counter.

So Rangers fans moan about someone complaining about your defensive tactics and yet if teams go to Ibrox and defend who's the 1st to complain about that then?

I'm not sure; Maybe you could elaborate, and provide some evidence, then it would probably be clearer.

I don't think you can criticise Rangers for their tactics anyway, I'm just stating that Messi is correct. But generally I think the way Walter is manging the side is good. They're going to get out of a group that would've been beyond any Scottish team 2 years ago - and for that he must take credit.
Gordon Strachan take note - this is how it's done.

I think the huns had their tactics spot on although they certainly rode their luck at times. And I wouldn't worry too much about the noises coming from Barca either - I seem to remember similar bleating from them after a UEFA cup match at Celtic a couple of years ago (although we actually beat them you might remember).
And I watched the highlights of Milan v. Shaktar tonight and I thought it showed what can happen when you try and play the elite teams at their own game. It was open and exciting stuff, but Shaktar ended up getting pumped as the likes of Kaka and Seedorf got time and space to exert their class.

We respect Barry Ferguson
Anyway why should we applaud opposition players
No1 likes us and we don't care - some fans need to remember that
f**k Lio Messi. Heard he got an injury in the washing machine....he couldn't get out of Sasa's back pocket before the kits got washed.

That is hilarious
A draw with Barca at Ibrucks and you now think you will go over there and win.
Couldn't make it up.

Messi is just stirring it.
I've seen la Liga teams go to Camp Nou and play an awful lot more defensively than Rangers did the other night in the hope of getting a point. He should be used to it by now.

They did. They just don't have a centre forward. Et'oo is badly missed. They settled for a point after about 85 minutes of complete domination.
You are right that MacGregor had little to do. Rangers play such a defensive formation, with 4 good defenders and a midfield 4 who had no interest in crossing the half way line. That was tactically spot on, and really difficult to play against, even for very good teams.

The result at Ibrox had no impact on my views on the game at the Nou Camp, I always thought the latter game would suit our defensive, counter attacking, style more.
And of course I think we can win; That's the beauty of football: It's a game, not a foregone conclusion.

Good for you.
Well, I think the games we are playing in the Uefa cup suit our, defensive, counter-attacking, headless chicken style of play.
I imagine we can to go to places like Madrid and sneak a win. We could probably win the Uefa cup too.
