I don't think its a good idea at all. Look at darren fletcher for example, hasn't played in god knows how long and gets a start during the week. Ive seen milk turn quicker. He couldn't run and was truly abysmal. players will be sharper if they have a game the week before. plus half of them play for (pish) english teams (gordon, alexander, murty, mcfadden, o'connor, maloney, pearson, miller, beattie, fletcher) FRANKLY, YOUR PETITION IS A PILE OF PISH. ridiculous idea.

p.s. hopefully david weir gets injured during the weekend in question. he's a useless has-been. was his fault for their first during the week and like fletcher he couldnt run. would rather have kennedy or caldwell partnering mcmanus.

Agree the idea of not playing is silly.

As an aside don't blame Weir for the first goal. We should have had a man (I emphasis man as Maloney was on the back stick) on both posts and the goal would have been avoided. The corner was quality and very difficult to defend.

Sorry, but your idea is a non-starter.

Money talks. Bookies love us football fools, trying to pick 5 - 10 teams to win, multiple bets, etc. They take our money easily, Postponing all fixtures means the bookies wouldn't skin us mugs as much. Idea is therefore dead in the water.

Also, remember Sky and Setanta invariably rule the game nowadays. Do you think that they will completely amend their schedule just for the Tartan Army's benefit? Sorry, I think not.

I've got a feeling you're English and just stirring things up because the English are effectively out.

Ridin' down the highway, goin' to a show, stop in all the by-ways, playin' rock 'n' roll,
Gettin' robbed, gettin' stoned, gettin' beat up, broken boned,
Gettin' had, gettin' took, I tell you folks it's harder than it looks,
It's a long way to the top if you wanna rock''roll..
It's a long way.......such a long way....................

Ok. i wont argue but it was weirs fault. the petition is still a load of nonsense. Cant believe all the people who have signed it. Obviously they don't know where the majority of the national team play their football.

East Fife players were said to be "covered in chicken tikka and potatoes" after a fracas in the cafeteria during an Irish Sea crossing.

Ach we'll know by tomorrow anyway. God knows what kind of conspiracies and plots are being dreamt up by those worry rats over at Fortress Paranoia.

'Mr.Mcleish requires the fittest and sharpest players available to him'

I'm sure Mr Smith and Mr Strachan are in the same boat with respect to that and seeing as it is the clubs that pay the wages, it should be up to them.
