To be honest most of my Rangers friends don't seem that bothered about having to take anything off Barca at Ibrox. I think they're just looking forward to the spectacle of the Ronadlinho and Messi inspired tide going at Weir and co. Do any Rangers fans seriously think Rangers will take anything from this game?

As for Celtic surely it's high time they did something on the road and Benfica - to me - seems a very reasonable proposition.

Rangers can beat Barca...as i said at the time of the Draw...f**k them...they will not be looking forward to coming to Glasgow. Let them worry about us instead of us worrying about them...They are far from unbeatable.

As for Celtic...well it is by far their easiest away game so they will be looking to get something.

Anyway i will go for 2 draws. ;)

Well they can't be much of Rangers supporters then - bizzare line of thinking by them.

I think Celtic and Rangers will both lose.

Two nil points for me as well.

I reckon Rangers can take a point at Ibrox. They COULD take all three, but I can't see it happening. I'd love to be wrong. There's too much quality in the Barca side for three points to Rangers IMO.

I think a one goal victory is a realistic aim; Although a draw would be enough to secure at least a Uefa cup spot.

Can't see either of them taking a win - Celtic'll probably get pumped by Benfica before going on to beat them at home, whereas Rangers'll pack ten men behind the ball for 90 minutes against Barca before losing 1-0 to a 78th minute, deflected goal by Ronaldinho.
Don't quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.

rangers 1-2 barca (henry scoring in the 88th min)

benfica 2-0 celtic (celtic having no fire power up-front will struggle)

Can see the Rangers came being really tight. They are hard to play against and Barca will be content enough with a point.

Only 1 goal in it to Barca or a draw.

Yeah I think they can

Rangers 1 - 1 Barca

Benfica 1 - 1 Celtic

Celtic may need to win to get out of the group though.

Quote

Barcelona are facing an injury crisis ahead of the Group E match.

Deco is out for five weeks, striker Samuel Eto'o is still sidelined, while Yaya Toure, Gianluca Zambrotta, Edmilson and Rafael Marquez miss out.

Lionel Messi, Thierry Henry and Gabi Milito all missed training on Sunday but will travel to Scotland.

And Ronaldinho has been recalled to the squad after being left out of Saturday's defeat by Villarreal after returning late from international duty with Brazil.

I fancy Rangers to sneak a win.

Celtic are away from home so they'll lose no doubt.

I hope we can sneak a win, our best chance is to hit them on the counter attack and make sure of the chances we get like we have been doing. I think Celtic and Benfica will draw because both will be desperate for the points and end up cancelling each other out.
Mon the Gers!

I think Rangers could get something from the game tonight, maybe Barca will be taken a little a back by the fight and tenacity shown by Rangers. It's a tough ask though, Smith has said four or five players could walk into any team in the world, I think anyone in their first eleven could.

As for Celtic, obviously being poor away from home already puts them less than likely to win but given their performance on Saturday and injuries, I don't think they'll do it.
