Who's he trying to kid?
First bit of decent money that comes in and Dundee's out of the title race.

same story words "refusing" to sign and "rejected" added for effect, nothing new to the daily ranger!!
if there was a chance of promotion this season would you sign a first division contract for a year now or wait til there might be a chance of spl wages? think about it!!

why would anyone pay 600k+ in january when they will be up for contract renewals in the summer? no one will pay this so chances are they will probably stay til summer, dees have said there would have to be significant fee for them to leave.

2. Matter for disclosure: i'm not on the wind.
I truly believe that it is unjust that Dundee should have millions of debt just waivered. You shouldn't be allowed to trade.

No I won't attempt to justify it because I don't need to.

Do you know the situation surrounding the re-payment of debt? I assume it hasn't just been waivered?
Last I was aware, you owed the bank in the region of £13m, which would take many a year to pay back. Surely any money you receive from these assets should be put towards eradicating that debt?
IMO, you shouldn't be allowed to spend a penny on transfers until its paid back. I think your youth system is pretty much your only way out of this situation.

It was detailed at our AGM http://www.dundee-mad.co.uk/news/loadfeat. ...2&id=349676
As far as I know any transfers into the club have been free, I may be wrong. If it were the shoe on the other foot I certianly wouldn't be making a song and dance about you being put out of business or ahything like that. If we did go out of business though, Who would be utterly consumed with hatred for then?

and what is your point? £7m of this was owed to the marrs who took this away with them, so this leaves £6m which is being managed, like any debt at any club including st johnstones.

I'm not making a song and dance. I asked a question, you've clarified it. The end

lol, well not really I don't get any great pleasure in being deliberately flippant about our financial issues but there are times when I have to be.

As far as Dundee losing their young players I'm afraid that happens and come January taking some cash or watching them sign a pre-contract and not try a leg for the rest of the season could be the choice.
