That would only have been made worse if Bayern Munich and a James McFadden inspired Everton were flung in.

Shocker for the Dons there, be very tough to get anything from this one. Good luck, think you are going to need it!
Our very success, gained you will agree by skill, will draw more people than ever to see it. And that will benefit many more clubs than Rangers. Let the others come after us. We welcome the chase. It is healthy for us. We will never hide from it. Never fear, inevitably we shall have our years of failure, and when they arrive, we must reveal tolerance and sanity. No matter the days of anxiety that come our way, we shall emerge stronger because of the trials to be overcome. That has been the philosophy of the Rangers since the days of the gallant pioneers.

That's tough. When do they learn of who their home games will be against? Christ, you wouldnt fancy playing away aginst any of those teams.
East Fife players were said to be "covered in chicken tikka and potatoes" after a fracas in the cafeteria during an Irish Sea crossing.

I wonder what our away games will be. f**k going to Moscow, only away games I'd go to there really is Greece and Madrid.

Have you seen the other groups? It's one of the better draws for the Dons. They've got arguably the weakest 1st and 2nd seeds, although maybe the strongest of the 3rd seeds.
I'll have a pint of what you've been drinking Stewarty
Pana they could take something off if they play them at Pittodrie, wouldn't fancy them to take anything from Loko either home or away, Atletico Madrid you can forget about and Copenhagen beat Man United and Celtic last year at home.
Groups D or H would have been better C would have been worse, the rest are much the same standard I think.

Lokomotiv have been rank domestically this season, I'd fancy Aberdeen to get a point over there, or beat them here. The Greeks haven't started their season particularly well either, and Copenhagen don't travel well, so you'd be looking for a home tie there.
Atletico Madrid is another story though, the worst 3rd seeds they could have got. I fancy the Dons to be competitive in this group. It will be difficult, but 3rd isn't totally unachievable.

Group D has Basel, Hamburg, and Rennes. Wouldn't fancy them to get much out of that. Group H has Bordeaux and Galatasaray. If you think they're easier than Lokomotiv and Panathanaikos, I'll have a pint of what YOU'RE drinking!!
