"We will not appeal. It is a decision that I have agreed with the president Silvio Berlusconi," Milan vice president Adriano Galliani told Rai TV. "It is a decision we have taken because we are European champions and must behave like that."

Behaved like cheating c**ts.

Indeed. Most would be doing the same (the 'good guys' would be bollocking the goalie through internal discipline)!

Aye dida should have got his face out of the way quicker!!....He was attacked by a supporter...Celtic failed to protect the players...End of story.

Doumbe went down with nobody within 10 yards of him but i believe he was injured!!

its a shame for all bar the one idiot who were there and witnessed a great celtic victory , i personaly would also fine dida . But uefa could do anything remember the rapid viena incident in the 80s someone frew a bottle on the park never hit anybody but celtic were forced to replay a game they had won 250 miles away in manchester wich they then lost , Unfotunately fear the worst :(

I've just mentioned that on another thread, the game was great, it was a stunning victory against the champions of Europe and regulars at the top level, the fan incident was nothing to do with the game IMO, regardless of whatever sanction Uefa give us

You miss the point. It's obvious what happened - AC Milan however were compromised by the actions of their goalie. If he'd stayed upright then Milan could have protested like feck from the 'moral high ground'

In as much as it did not have an effect on the game or it's outcome, enjoyment etc.

Players and managers can be booked after the final whistle after the outcome is (obviously) decided. The 'game' is defined by what the ref puts in his report.

I did say in my opinion, regardless of what uefa decide, they cannot take away my enjoyment of the night, the fan took nothing out the game for me

UEFA should throw the book at Celtic for this ridiculous shameful incident.

Throw them out the competition, that'll teach them for allowing such reprobates to support them.

Throw Rangers out aswell while they're at it, you can't have buck without fast afterall.

I am just glad we (St Mirren) have no reprobate supporters.

Considering all the cheating that Celtic have doen down the years, taking into account all the dodgy refereeing decisions that they have benefited from, all the dodgy penalties they have been given, etc and considering all the diving many of their players have done - I think its wonderful that this fan has run on to the park to spoil it for everyone.

I really hope UEFA hand out a draconian, disproportionate punishment to Celtic. Its what they deserve.
