Can't see us going through. You could tell from the first leg that Dnipro have excellent technical players. We can but hope though.

I would love it if Darren Mackie scored the goal that took us through B)

Good shout :P
Well played Aberdeen !

He would've been about 10/1 last night I reckon.
Did Clarke even have a shot ?

No, I think he played quite well though. Stuck to his task and kept them at bay.

It was always going to be a difficult job, and not much scope for attacking on our behalf. Luckily we took the only real chance we had.

best bounce i've ever been involved in and that includes rangers games at Ibrox - nothing compared to the bounce when we scored there. Just got into Kiev and the drinks are now up to 70p now!!!

2 days spent in dnipro for about 25 quid

Once the first round has been completed, the 40 remaining clubs are drawn into 8 groups of 5 teams in accordance with the seeding principles, based on the UEFA list of club coefficients. The 40 teams will be allocated to five pots. Pot 1 will comprise the top eight clubs in the club coefficient rankings, Pot 2 the following eight clubs in the rankings, and so on for pots 3, 4 and 5. Clubs from the same association will not be drawn into the same group.
When the draw concludes and there are 8 groups of 5 teams, a computer draw will take place to determine the fixture schedule with factors such as stadium clashes and climatic conditions (it is not possible to play in some northern countries in mid-December) taken into account. Each club plays home and away alternately in its group. The following match sequence applies:

1st match day: D v B C not playing
E v A

2nd match day: B v E A not playing
C v D

3rd match day: A v B D not playing
E v C

4th match day: C v A B not playing
D v E

5th match day: A v D E not playing B v C

With Pot 1 team being A, Pot 2 B, etc etc

I'm just home now. What a fucking trip.

The early flights were a bit of a grind and as always wearing a kilt for three days takes its toll

We didn't have accomodation when we got there but we managed to get a room at Hotel Dnipropetresck(sp) where the bulk of Aberdeen fans were staying and we had an amazing bounce in the hotel bar on Wednesday night :cheers

The day of the game consisted of pissing about at the square drinking many cans of 20p Stella  oh and I pulled this amazing Ukrainian bird called Kerina :thumsup2 the women over in Ukraine are unreal!

As for the game, well as Milners said, an amazing bounce when the goal went in, sheer joy and disbelief. The last fifteen minutes were the longest I have had to endure as a football fan, amazinly I include the two Scotland victories over France in that :o

We missed our train back to Kiev last night so had to get a 7 hour taxi from Dnipro to Kiev, £100 each for me and my mate :(

Away to get smashed in the local tonight, f**k I better start saving again

Great Trip :)

I can't help but feel the lack of coverage this result has received is a bit of a disgrace.

I got the papers today expecting it to be all over the back page, but instead it was still all about Dida. The Aberdeen match report appeared about 5 pages in!

One of the ever reliable papers said about 500.

Glad you enjoyed yerself Karl and that the Dandies gave you the result you wanted. Well played the Dons :D

Cheers lads, I was in Paris a few weeks ago but this was honestly up there with that, incredible watching your club record a result and a performance like that away in Europe :D

Aye seemed to be way more than 300 Dandies, by my estimates I'd say 500.

Bizarre thing was we didn't need to show our tickets to get into the game
