Game Kicks off tomorrow at 1945. Rangers drew 1-1 at the weekend whilst Lyon won 3-0 to take them to the top of the French league, albeit joint on points with a team who have a match in hand I believe. If we can get a result tomorrow it would be a massive jump towards getting out of this group and through.
Without Darcheville we have a problem about who to play up top on their own ( I believe Darche has officially pulled out now ? ). Should it be Boyd, Cousin, Novo , Naismith , McCulloch ?
I would go with the following for tomorrow….
MacGregor
Hutton Weir Cuellar Papac
Novo Ferguson Hemdani Thomson Beasley
Boyd
The reason I picked Boyd is if started his confidence will be buzzing and we really need a goal , however I reckon Walter may go with either big Lee or Cousin up front.
My prediction is 2-0 to Rangers, and yes I am in a very optimistic mood. Hopefully we can pull off a shock.
Come on the 'Gers !!!
Lyon V Rangers

You'll get fucked
Don't expect to get an easy penalty away from home on Tuesday, only Scottish referee's bend over to Rangers.
Maybe that's why you fail in Europe so often
Aye I'm bitter at dropping two points on Saturday.

I genuinely think Rangers have a chance here - Lyon haven't been firing on all cylinders and have lost many players over the past few years.
With Walter's jamminess on their side, I wouldn't be surprised if they got a point from this.
Although I sincerely hope not.

Aye right...They are not firing on all cylinders and have struggled to the top of the French League..

We are Rangers.
We are not manafactured; we are born.
We do not choose; we are chosen.
Those who understand need no explanation.
Those who don't understand don't matter.

With Nancy in 2nd, Valenciennes in 4th and Le Mans in 5th.
They've lost two out of 9 so far and were humped by Barcelona.
Overrated, I'm telling you.

They started the season dreadfully but have begun to look ominously good again, a slip-up against Lille aside. The comfortably beat Lens 3-0 last Saturday and in Karim Benzema possess arguably the best teenage goalscorer on the continent.
They can still be a little vulnerable however, although this is mainly due to the attitude of the players; Juninho has already publicly stated that he thinks Perrin's tactics are too negative. They are also struggling with injuries; any side missing players like Coupet, Cris and Fred will be weakened significantly.
I'll go for a 2-0 home win, Benzema to score the first goal.
The Greek!

Lyon are top of Ligue 1 but struggling under Perrain. The lack of Gregory Coupet could cost Lyon a few more goals than their used to, and offcourse losing key defenders over the summer doesn't help. The last time Lyon played Scottish opposition, Celtic, they won 3-2 with Juninho scoring a fantastic goal.
Juninho wonder goal to win it for Lyon.

It's getting kind of hard to believe things are going to get better. I've been drowning too long to believe that the tide is going to turn. And I've been living too hard to believe things are going to get easier now. I'm still trying to shake off the pain from the lessons I've learned. And if I see Van Helsing, I swear to the lord I will slay him. AHA HA HA. He take you from me but I swear I won't let it be so. AHA HA HA. Blood, will run done his face, when he is decapitated AH! His head on my mantle is how I will let this world know...how much I love you.
Die, die, die....I can't
Die, die, die....I can't

You're doing well but Cousin is rubbish. He can't control the ball and his reading of the game is terrible. Midfield are doing well but I worry that Smith will have them sitting deeper and deeper as the game goes on.

Anyone who backed Lyon at 1/2 needs their heads checked, they're not the team they used to be and Rangers won't concede too many.
Took Rangers at 11/2 and doubled them with Dynamo Kiev...to be honest i would still take the draw!
