Two home games in a row now...Dumbarton and the Shire, maximum points after those two game and we'll have had a good first quarter of the season!

Still away at work at not home for another 2 weeks.
Supporter bus was full and there was alot of cars loads made the journey thru
As for the game a minor set back with forfar scoring early on but once baird scored and jay's spectacular 30 yard volley we were on easy street. Good to see 4 different scorers for the mo shows we have goals right thru the team. Defence look solid enough with the young keeper in goals. The lads had chances to extend the score but cant really grumble as in was a stroll after the hour make after gibby scored a cracker shame he got book for celebrating

As has been said - i would say that Montrose had their biggest travelling support in three or four years. (I actually think that the Scottish Cup match against Forfar was the last time we had that that amount travelling).
Felt sorry for the old guy who walked past us with about ten minutes to go on his way out - "any of you want a free Forfar season ticket?" - reminded me of me the last few seasons (apart from the obvious age difference)

There is no way Forfar will fall into the oblivion that Montrose has endured for the last ten years - i would bet that by the New Year a new manager will be in place and things will turn around.

Jay Stein's goal looks better every time I watch it, and Gibby's celebration was well worth getting booked for!

Yes, the ref did over react a tad. He booked Gibson for celebrating with the fans at the 4th goal.
Not wanting to take anything away from Forfar but was there anyone playing their goalscorer onside? - can't see on the video and i was at the opposite end of the park and didn't notice at the time.
