Well while our start to the season, to put it mildly, has been downright crap, Thursday brings a welcome distraction with our first game in Europe for five years.
Despite Saturday's game against Motherwell, I am still looking forward to this.
We are capable of making life very difficult for Dnipro and if we can keep a clean sheet and maybe even sneak a win then we have a mediocre chance of qualifying for the group stages.
Come on you Reds B)
Aberdeen V Dnipro Here we go!

Aberdonians, and with some degree of purpose and right on their side, have absolute contempt for Glasgow. There is a side of Aberdonians who, let's be absolutely honest about this, feel so superior to Glasgow that you could measure it by the yard;

I'm going plus a few other neutrals, should contribute to a decent match. Obviously Aberdeen haven't been playing well and Dnipro will be a technically gifted team. Hopefully Aberdeen can make the group stages but this will be a tough one.

These boys are 2nd in the Ukrainian league and they pumped Metalist Kharkiv (who play Everton) 3-0 this weekend. I jsut hope the Dons put a good performance in!

You'd do well to pick up a win, and I sincerely hope you get that win.
A score draw could also put you in good stead, but Dnirpo seem like a not bad side, so they could probably quash the away goal thing pronto.

We're gonna get humped, unless we put in a performance like we did vs Celtic, only for the whole 90 minutes.

A score draw wouldn't be too much use I'm afraid, as it would give them an away goal advantage.
A clean sheet is essential if we are to progress.

Ive had enough of you and your bigoted bile, so Im goin to do what I should have done when I first saw it. Im reporting you. Im not usually as annoyed, but you cant help yourself. You are offensive and shouldnt be allowed to continue. This isnt banter, you have a serious problem. I dont think this is petty and I would encourage other members offended by this users Bile to do the same."

Soutar
Hart Seve Diamond Foster
De Visscher (if fit) Nicholson Mcnamara Aluko
J.Smith (he needs dropped i reckon it'll work)
Miller (yeah up on his own, support from Smith)
Playing this allowes Mcnamara to drop back and more like a 4-1-3-1-1 using Alukos' pace and ability to cross the ball to expose their defense, none of this long ball pish either please as by looks of things these guys aint the smallest of guys so won't be that quick. Also you could maybe swap Seve and Mcnamara about as it would still work.

11/10 draw no bet for Dnipro is massive imho. I not very confident either especially the way the dons have been playing and the defence shambles since the start of the season. Also think the crowd for this game will be shite because of saturday game and will be lucky if there is 12,000 there especially as its on bbc tv. No doubt there will be a thread about the attendance from some certain person on here

There will be cash turnstiles for the South, Merkland and Main stands. Dick Donald is near enough a sell out so no cash gates there.

One of you Dons fans needs to start a pleading (and cringingly embarrassing) thread asking which 'neutral' fans will be backing the Dons on Thursday.
edit: you should also post it in the wrong forum to remove any doubt with regards to the limitations of your intellect

This team are only 3 points behind Shakhtar. If they play anything like Shakhtar, 6/5 on Dnipro will be where my money is headed....
