Poor performance and the loss of Brand for any period of time will have a big affect on the team. Simpson was poor today and really needs to 'muck in' more. If McKenzie is still not available for a couple of weeks the midfeld looks a bit unbalanced. Still expect us to win at the weekend though.

This is an outrage. A Vauxhall!! The shame and embarrassment of it all. A campaign must be undertaken to have these individuals named, shamed and banished from the game sine die.
Seriously, I thought we played some good stuff. Couldn't believe it when Shire went two up. We had bossed the game but poor end product and two sloppy pieces of defending looked like it was going to cost us.
Great to see the heads didn't drop and as the game went on we got better and better. Passing and movement was excellent and all told I thought we fully deserved the points.
The third goal summed it up perfectly. An end to end move involving half the team and a dozen or so passes. Quality.

Well done to all involved with the East Stirling trust and it was a pleasure to be the first away supporters to use your new bar in the ground cracking cold pint and a very hospitable bunch.

Full credit to Stranraer today, we just didn't look like we were into this game at all today. The blues hit us right from the outset, and kept us tight in the first half, and finally punished us for sitting back too much in the second.
Must say, number 6&7 really impressed me today, gave us trouble all day long.
Hopefully back to better form on Saturday in Elgin, and hopefully some sunshine!
And for Geebo, have 3 Elgin pies ready when we come up, he's a hungry lad.

And also, was quite impressed with the bar, first time i've seen it with beer flowing, and only thing we really need is more space!

IMO 'Paddy' Keogh made the difference when he came on up-front and used his Physical presence well to link up with Mullen.
Both Gibson and Taid were excellent on wings, only downside was we need to learn how to defend set-pieces.
The best thing took from the result (apart from 3 points of course) was the fighting spirit we showed to come back from 2 goals down to win 3-2. Any other game under Britton if we went 2-0 down we would usually lie down but yesterday we looked like we wanted to win and that showed at the end of the game as the players looked delighted with victory.

Well done Stranraer, a well deserved win. Will be attending the next home game against Arbroath so hoping for a better game.

Wonder what sort of team will be played on Tuesday.
S`RAER BOSSED THE MIDFIELD FOR MOST OF THE GAME BUT FORTUNATELY LEFT THEIR SHOOTING BOOTS AT HOME
THE EQUALISER & GAME WINNING GOAL WERE OG `S BUT THEY HAD MISSED ENOUGHJ CHANCES BEFORE TO WIN !!!
GOOD TO SEE THE AWAY FANS IN THE BAR AFTER THE GAME
SEE A " TRAVELLING " AWAY SHIRE FAN AND YOU MIGHT GET SIGNED IN ( THE USUAL SUSPECTS)
THE JURY IS STILL OUT IF AKABUSSI & Co WILL BE ALLOWED IN

It was also my first match at Firs Park - it's a cracking wee ground, it would be a shame if you had to up sticks and move to Grangemouth.
Just a couple of thoughts from the match...
1. Why don't East Stirlingshire have any ball-boys?
2. That Gregory Tade player was immense - seemed to be everyone on the pitch at once. However, there is something I've always wondered about foreign players in the lower leagues. Do they come to Scotland to play specifically to play football - in which case do they then look for a 'normal' job to help pay the bills. Or, do they come to Scotland for a 'normal' job and then look for a part-time club to play with?

You still can't resist having a small pop despite the fact we won and you lost and we've said nothing whatsoever about it... you do yourselves no favours.
