WOW.

It doesn't get much better than that. 2-0 down from two long range efforts (their only shots on target i can remember all game) and then battered them the entire second half, hit the post, had 3 pens turned down (2 of them first half) and the keeper made a very good save. Looked like we were going to 6 without a win and then we go and score 3 goals!! the winner comming 3 mins into injury time!! We even had time to have one disallowed at 2-2!! Truely amazing stuff!

We bloody deserved that win.

as i said after the east stirling game, the rovers will be in the 3rd division next year yet again.
How the f**k can you throw away 3 goals in 5 minutes?
Fair play to Elgin for your perseverence, but that should never be allowed to happen..

F**k It..

After we scored the first goal, Jamie McKenzie was taken off which was a move which suprised me a lot. If i was an albion fan and we had just let our oppenents back into the game with 5 minutes left, Jamie is the last player i'd want taken off. Albion looked well organised and solid all afternoon untill he was subbed and they just fell to pieces, very strange decision from your manager.

Forgot to mention that Albion had a goal disallowed at 0-0. Correctly in my opinion but the ref still had an awful game.

Well we made a 'hash' of that one.

By the sounds of things! What can I say  2-0 up and then we muck it up, again?

Whats going on, turmoil at Cliftonhill again

Déjà Vu of the 'Shire game :(

Panic seemed to set in whilst we were still 2 up.
Albion Rovers directory enquiries 118821 . Just 41p per call from a BT line.

A substantial amount of the proceeds go to Albion Rovers Supporters' Trust

Nice one Elgin, good to get the first points on the board. Still going to be difficult to make up the ground but a massive lift for your players after so many defeats.

No he didnt. Williamson said in the paper he's still a few games away from being match fit. He was involved in the North Cup final against Caley today though.

Tip for any team playing us this season, give us a 2 goal lead and we'll soon switch off and let you have the points. 6 games in and I'm already pissed off.

Ridgers was quite comfortable apart from being caught off his line for both goals.

Zander was amazing, won man of the match and deservedly so. He is way too good for this club and level, im very suprised he's not on the fringe of the caley team. He ran at players for 90 minutes and he often beat his man and get a cross in. He was popping up all over the park with the ball and was very influential for us, he was our main driving force going forward. Was very unlucky not to score when he hit the post. He's one of the most exciting players i've seen in an Elgin shirt for some time, shame he's not our player, can we keep him? :P

zanders was on the fringe of the first team last year, he came off the bench and impressed a couple of times towards the end of the year, scored a few in the spl reserve league too.

having said that i can see him being with you all season, we're pretty much full loaded on the right hand side..

enjoy <_<
