This one appears tricky at the moment - Livingston looked poor in the cup but I'd expect an improved performance on Saturday.
Have no idea as to our line up for this one, but certainly looking forward to returning to Almondvale after the hurricane last time.
Of course, i'll have to rob a bank before I can possibly afford the journey. <_<

Not going due to ridiculous prices. £16 in and £5 to park - that's £21 before you're even through the turnstyles, forget it.

Supposdely McArthur Glen is quite close to the ground.
Surely that's cheaper. :o
Still, can understand the sentiment against giving that amount to watch Lavvy.
And Morton. ;)

Keeping the cash for the Challenge cup game where at least a portion of the gate goes back to Cappielow rather than in Pikey Flynn's back pocket.

Likewise. I'm itching to see Morton as holidays and a stag weekend have prevented me from seeing us in the league thus far.

However, due to Flynn being a tosser of the highest order I'm boycotting on general principle.

As someone who rarely misses a game I can't understand that philosophy. Fair enough if you can't afford the away games but I follow my team when I can and leave the politics to the politicians - football or otherwise.

Suits me though if the lot of you stay at home on Saturday. Big away supports often give their teams an extra lift. :whistle

It's not the money although I am a bit short after my recent holiday.

I've never taken this stance before and usually only miss around half a dozen games a season.

St J'stone are another club who won't be getting my custom this year.

It's the only way they may rethink what they charge.

They won't re-think what they charge, they'll only charge more to the people who go...They need £x money from a season, so they need to make up for shortfalls elsewhere somehow...

Anyway, park in the multi-storey or the college car park and it's free!

For similar reasons to LargsTON - the fact that Pearse Flynn is a grubby moron who isn't getting any of my cash - I'll be giving this a miss.

I would expect us to win this - this is the type of game from which we need 3 points - and will be disappointed if we don't... but not altogether surprised.

I really think the post-promotion high has already worn off, but I hope that Gardyne and Russell can rejuvenate us a bit.

I don't see what the problem is regarding gate prices. It was £16 for Dunfermline and I don't remember people complaining when we played there last month....

That'll be why he's invited 40 underprivilaged kids from Greenock to the game on Saturday. Pre-match coaching on the fieldturf, a tour of the stadium including the dressing rooms and meeting the players then (if possible) a half time shootout on the pitch. Free food and drink thrown in too.

Don't let that get in the way of your bitter and twisted view of the him though

We've lost to worse.
Its only a couple of year since Station Park was a "bogey ground" for us.

I'm looking forward to getting back to league action. Especially as the International break failed to lift this particular Northern Irish lad.

Hoping we will continue the way we've been palying before the break with expansive football that will create goals and get that first league win so overdue.

Fair enough, I can't help but salute him for that. That's an excellent gesture.

But I still don't like his club, nor the way he runs it, and will be giving it a miss until there are greater changes. Not that he'll lose any sleep over it, but there you go.

I had thought that the international break would give our injury problems a chance to clear up. Instead its got worse with Chris Millar doing a hamstring in training this week. We will now be definitely missing:

McLaughlin
McGregor
Walker
McGurn (no sub goallie?)
McAnespie
Millar

Plus Ryan Harding is doubtful

All of the above are first team players so it looks like we will have to rely on a makeshift team again. We have no one with experience of playing left back and if Harding does'nt make it we will have Weatherson at Centre back. I suppose it saves the manager having too many decisions to make about who plays.

I have a bad feeling about this game but then again, I thought France would murder us!!
I plan on living forever! So far, so good!

It may well be your best chance, so far, of beating someone this season ( what with the 'Ton injury crisis ) but still think we'll take something from the game.

Crisis is a wee bit melodramatic.
We have a squad to deal with injuries, and lets not forget the emergency loan option that's available.

"Crisis", was tongue in cheek, not melodramatic and did say we'd take something from the game.
