Hi, I was born on saturday August 11th 1990 and I was wandering if Ayr United were playing that day?
If so, can I get details about the match?
And the man from the magazine, wants another shot of you all curled up
'Cos you look like an actor in a movie shot.
But you're feeling like a wino in a parking lot
How did I get in here anyway?
Do we really need a playback of the show?
'Cos the wideboys want to head for the watering holes
Let's go
And the man in the mirror has sad eyes

Season had not started yet.

First game after that was on 22nd August - Celtic 4-0 Ayr (League Cup).
Mother played by Peter Beardsley, Father by John Cleese.

I have only just stumbled across your post. Ayr United did play on August 11th 1990. The score was Ayr United 2 St. Mirren 3 and it was a friendly played in front of a Somerset Park attendance of 1,950. The Ayr team was: Purdie, Kennedy, Love, Furphy, Gillespie, Brown, Bryce, Scott, Graham, Templeton and Weir; subs - Walker, Evans, McIntyre, Wilson and Smyth. Goals: Torfason (2) St.Mirren, Kennedy (11) Ayr, Torfason (19) St. Mirren, Lambert (45) St. Mirren, Templeton (51) Ayr.

Cheers for that :)

Now I can use that as a chatup line.

"On the day I was born, Ayr United were beaten 3-2 by St Mirren."
