Still a Mickey Mouse cup but nice to see the Loons win, score and play well.

Anyone accusing Forfar of long ball tactics last night is either blind or bitter, take your pick. With Lunan, Fraser and Fotheringham in midfield we were the ones passing it about and small strikers like Lombardi and Stuart there was little point in a high ball to East Fife's big defence. If anyone was playing the long ball game last night it was the Fifers (though to be fair it worked on occassion), their best player by a mile was the No. 11, Walker. McManus as expected looks to be an expensive waste but was impressed by O'Reilly except for that miss in the second half, belter!

Not difficult to believe that we play an awful lot better with Lunan and Fotheringham back in the side, maybe it won't be such a dire season after all.

Even though both Lunan and Fotheringham werent match fit the gave their all for the 120mins.

Tulloch looked better at left back than any other player tried there.

We were the fitter side in extra time which was a surprise.
