PAS Giannina finished with -40 odd points in the 2002/2003 Greek top flight.

That was after a hefty points deduction for not paying their players.

Our worst season was in the mid-sixties when we only won once ( versus St. Johnstone) the entire season (64-65 I think) and ended with 9 points.

That was in the old First Division and just before Ally McLeod took over as player manager. B)

Are Shirey the worst ever SFL team regarding points totals?

Did they not finish with 8pts or something in 2004/05?

Shire's worst season was 2003/04: two wins, two draws, 32 defeats, 8 points. Our two draws came in the first four games of the season which was quite a promising start for us in those days! Both wins were Elgin at home, with 25 consecutive defeats in between. If we hadn't beaten them in the last game of the season, it would have been the worst season EVER in Scottish senior football, but I can't remember who actually holds the record.

The worst season in following Cowdenbeath, was season 1992-1993

I think we went something like 24 games without a win and from the start of that season went two years without a home win.

In a single match would have to be 8-0 loss to Gretna 3 seasons ago

Does anyone know the record score in a match, post-world war two? I.e. not Arbroath 36-0 Bon Accord - all that without goal nets (when, on the same day, Dundee Harp beat Aberdeen 35-0).

Rangers beat Keith 10-1 about ten years ago in the Scottish Cup.

Did Ross County not destroy Burntisland Shipyard something like 11-0 in the Scottish Cup min 93-94 before beating us the next round?

In Scotland? I don't know for certain but Stirling Albion beat Selkirk 20-0 in the Scottish Cup in the early eighties.

That was biggest win in senior competition in Britain in the 20th Century.
