Bit of an oddity this I suppose. Just following on from the mention of Owen Coyle and his brothers Tommy and Joe who all played for Dumbarton together. I'm pretty sure there was a fourth, youngest Coyle brother called Gary or Stephen who played junior for Muirkirk. Anyone able to shed some light on that.

Also did Gary McAllister's brother Gordon play junior for Hurlford United and Annbank United. Are there any other brothers of well known senior players who have or are playing junior. I know that Paul Dickov has two brothers who play at some East Region junior side and also Kenny Miller's brother plays for Preston Athletic, I think? Bit of a tenuios one but Simon Donnelly's cousin Barry Donnelly also played for Muirkirk for a bit, Simon attended a few Muirkirk games at the time.

Any others?

I'm sure Ian Durrant has a brother, James, who played for Glasgow Perthshire.

Alan Johnston's brother Sammy (40) has played Junior since 1999 - now Neilston manager. John O'Neil has younger twin brothers Kevin and Stephen (34) who have had long Junior careers. Both finished the season with Maryhill. John Traynor's slightly younger brother Colin was a Junior keeper until this season.

As mentioned already, Allan Dickov (27) and Stevie Dickov (38) play for Pumpherston.

Are Jason and Lee Dair related?

Brother's. Their dad Iain also played for Cowden and Glenrothes when they won the Scottish Junior Cup in 75.

I think Keith Lasley (Motherwell) has a brother, Joe Lasley, playing for RAF Lossiemouth Juniors. He used to play for Lossiemouth and someone said that it was Keith Lasley's brother.

St Johnstone keeper Alan Main has a brother, Roy Main, playing for Lossiemouth United - although I think he has now retired from playing (finally) and helps out with the coaching there.

Is Marcus Dailly still playing junior in and around Dundee ?

I remember we had John Collins' brother Neil, lets just say he wasn't quite as good as his brother!!! ;)

Also seem to remember Kenny MacDowall's brother playing for us but his first name escapes me at the moment!!!

Also we had "The Leader" (Lee Dair), "the leader of the gang I am", needless to say the song was dropped when the Gary Glitter headlines hit the Gary Glitter, also now have his brother Jason on the books.

Yeah, Pollok signed Sammy from the Jags in 1999 and he moved onto Neilston a few years later. He still plays for Neilston now and then, if injuries are biting hard.

Marcus Dailly was with Lochee Harp this season. He was their only player shorter than 6-05!! I'm only half joking... a team of giants. So was Graeme Dailly - don't know if that's a relation? And there's Gareth Dailly at Lochee United.

Paul McDowall is the name you seek. He's a couple of years younger than Kenny and was with East Fife in 1987-88.

John's brother Neil ended up back in the East of Scotland League with Gala Fairydean. Was Norman Collins also a brother? He was at Gala at the same time.
