I'm currently awaiting delivery of the Scottish Non-League Review for season 2005-2006 and 2004-2005. However, it'll be a few weeks until they arrive and I was wondering if anyone knew of a site or sites where I can get the East and North Junior, South of Scotland and East of Scotland league tables for 2005-2006 season? Rssf.com hasn't got them and Brian McColl's site only has the Highland that I can find. I've got the West Juniors off SJFA site (btw what happened to Newmains, 0 matches played?).
Thanks in advance for the help.

Cotness United folded during 2005-06. They reformed as Newmains United for 2006-07.

East Region Lothian Division 2 tables (more accurately divisions that Haddington athletic have featured in but it's much the same
) for the recent seasons can be found at
http://www.haddingto....co.uk/tplstats
There is a project to add Division not-containing-Haddington tables in progress but it'll be a while

Btw, are Dundee Elmwood dead and buried, or are they officially in long term SJFA abeyance?

I think gone for good after years of groundsharing around the city. Their last stint was with East Cragie who moved them on and with no home they folded. Some of their committee joined other clubs.

Wonder if Kinloss will go the same way - then again Buckie bounced back after a year out I think. I'm always in awe that Lossiemouth can support 3 teams - although they are all poor.

Kinloss were rumoured to be joining the local Welfare league. Being a Forces side, they have struggled to have a team and had to scratch from the Junior Cup a few times.
RAF Lossiemouth are also a forces side therefore can't really be counted as a Lossiemouth team as they will rely on personnel from the airbase.

Lossie is a big enough town - population of 6,000 to 7,000. Although the teams have struggled in recent years it hasn't always been the case - in 1994-95 Lossiemouth FC finished 3rd in the HFL whilst Lossiemouth United won the North District Junior League (formerly the Morayshire Junior League and has now largely evolved into the Second Division of the North Region minus the most successful teams) the same season.
RAF Lossie largely draw their team from military personnel (it is a large base) and civilian workers who also work on the airbase. Given a large population of fit young males at their disposal, the RAF team should do better - but the best players end up going to HFL clubs or Elgin City.

I think probably the highest profile airman that doesn't play for RAF Lossie/Kinloss would be Darren Shalliker? Instead, he's played for Lossiemouth, Huntly and Nairn County. Did he play for either of the RAF teams before Lossie?

Indeed, I would say he's the highest profile one just now. I think he has turned out for either RAF Lossie or Kinloss in the Juniors in the past, but not in any long term fashion, just as stop-gaps I think. However, service players can also play for RAF Lossie/Kinloss in non-Junior competitions - so the likes of Shally have played for RAF Lossie in the RAF Cup and such like whilst still also signed to a senior club. If that makes sense.
At Lossie we used to have a few service players in the past, but I don't think we have any just now. In recent seasons we have had Joe Lasley (brother of Keith), Paul Caulfield and Michel Wintjes (Dutch serviceman on deployment at RAF Lossie) as well as Shally though. Possibly some others too (Rollings?).
