Played for 'Leporano' in 1991/92, dunno what division they were in or if it qualifies as senior.

Then a couple of years at St Andrews in Malta ;)

Did Damiano Agostini (E Fife and Q Park) not spend 2001/2 playing for a minor club in Italy?

Sadly it seems that Irvine-born Scotsman Damiano Pietro Agostini did indeed entertain a tenuous, romantic link with a foreign nation.

He apparently availed himself of some higher education in this country, funded by Scottish taxpayers, and chose to study Italian - a foreign tongue - whilst deluding himself that he was a plastic Italian. I think he did the dirty on Scotland by going on a placement to 'Oitaly' in 01/02.

ECR leader Jan Zahradil has attacked the decision to go ahead with the House of History project. Speaking in Strasbourg, the Czech member said, "We do not need this. As Europe is losing competitiveness and geopolitical weight, it is becoming a museum anyway."

Bloobell's somewhat depressing link from another thread (below) uncovers another Scot apparently currently playing in Serie C, Gabriel Omoniyi....
