Denis Law at Torino. And Paul Dalglish was supposed to have signed for Modena a few years back, but I don't think he actually played.
Joe Baker (Hibs/Raith) played for Torino. He was brought up in Motherwell, but only allowed to play for England because he was born in Liverpool: just missing out on the 1966 squad. If you want to include him that's up to you...
Edit: found another guy called Jack Diment who played for Juventus, Milan and Torino in the early 1900's.

Italians could use Scots since all mediterrainian countrys suffer of lack of pace, strength (not so much in Slavic countrys), fightin spirit, and everythin connected with northern type of soccer, Croatias soccer is really borin sometimes, and so is Italian, but the difference is Italians can afford to make changes, but for some backward Italian reason, as they r, in love with themselves (no one knows why), they stick to their ground zero soccer, that can be effective but really sucks to watch.

Bryan Little won the Oceanian Champions League last year with Auckland. Thus the only Scotsman to play in the Club World Cup?

Remember reading somewhere about a guy born in Falkirk who went to play in Italy and ended up playing for the Italian national team?

To answer my own question :
Quote
he Italian international was Johnny Moscardini. Thanks to my colleague Forrest Robertson we can relate a little of his fascinating story. Moscardini was actually born in Falkirk in 1897, the son of one of three brothers who left the town of Barga in Tuscany to establish fish-and-chip shops and ice-cream parlours in Scotland.
Moscardini served in the British army in World War One and was wounded in battle. He moved to Italy to convalesce after the war and played for Tuscan side Lucchese and later for Pisa. He was capped nine times for Italy between 1921-25 and scored seven goals. .
With the family business facing difficulty Moscardini finally left Italy to help out back in Falkirk. It isn't clear whether he actually turned out for the Bairns during this period. There's a Moscardini's there still owned and run by the family to this day. Johnny lived to a ripe old age, dying in Prestwick in 1985.
Back in Barga Johnny Moscardini's is a revered name. He is the only 'local' to have played for Italy and every so often the town holds a Moscardini family reunion where the main meal is fish and chips! The local team - AS Barga - play in the Johnny Moscardini stadium.

He was born in Glasgow but went to Italy as a baby. Seems to have only played youth stuff at Atalanta then went to Arsenal reserves.
Hargreaves was born and raised in Canada?

That is an interesting story - I'm off on holiday to Tuscany next week as it happens, so I'll try to look out the stadium in Braga!

lol and people acuse me of being rasist!!!!
all mediterrainian countries are not fast or strong??? lol, you could be right
Many people say western europeans like scottish irish etc are not fast, 90 percent of us are as slow as a week in the jail, People like bellamy, ivan sproule, kenny miller, maloney etc cancel out that theory.
Anyway this point although not racist is just as 'racist' as my point about someone not lookin scottish
