Posted 02 May 2007 - 02:21
Kris Boyd's appearances against Celtic are listed below in order. Each number represents an appearance, and is the number of minutes he played in during that game. The ones without brackets represent games in which he played from the start, whilst those in brackets denote appearances as a substitute. The appearances are separated into seasons with a line of dashes (---) representing a new season.

All of which gives a total of fifteen appearances - made up of seven starts and eight as a sub - totalling 694 minutes, or 11 hours 34 minutes.
Notes:-
* Whilst all the other games were in the SPL, this Scottish Cup tie is Boomer's only appearance against Celtic in a non-SPL game to date.
** The game in which Tarbolton's finest played his first full ninety minutes against Celtic is also notable for being the one game in which he's scored against them. Unfortunately despite being a perfectly legitimate goal it was not allowed to stand, for no other reason than it would have prevented Celtic from winning the league.
*** Following his January transfer to Rangers, the first "Old Firm" derby of 2006 saw the SPL's all-time highest scoring Scot make his first appearance against Celtic for his new club.

Saturday was a historic day indeed, as Boyd scored his 100th SPL goal.
Only Henrik Larsson has scored more.
Now Boomer only needs to score 58 more in order to claim his rightful place as the SPL's all-time best.
