Definitely great news! Dougie is our best player now that Markus has gone and has never had a bad game since his return from injury earlier in the season. Here's hoping he'll continue to inspire the boys to safety at the end of the season!

Our keeper is Davie Hay. Dougie Hill is a centre half who has been insperational the past few months and looks a great prospect. I heard Dundee United have been keeping an eye on him so its fantastic that he has signed on.

He was the player that was needing treatment when Rovers scored their first....if only he hadnt been injured......we could have made the score respectable......
Anyway apart from one game in the past few months he has been superb

The Rovers can make even the best look bad. Don't worry about it

On the downslide is Big Marv - well past his best.
They are comparable though as Dougie is one of the best players in the Division and Marv is one of the best prayers in the Division.

Davie Hay is first pick. Davie Orr was the back-up keeper but he has been injured for months and Kyle Allison our youth team keeper has been on the bench recently.

It's just that he's my mate's cousin and I've not seen him about for ages.
He's mates with Hibs' Jay Shields.

Cheers Minertaur.
Your youth team 'keeper was mouthing off at our fans a couple of weeks ago.
Fair dues, you give it out, you take it back but he didnt have a sense of humour about it.
More people would respect him if he took it better, just a wee tip incase he reads P&B.

Yes, the same guy. I thought he looked ok going forward when he was with us but was a bit of a bombscare defensively...has obviously improved that aspect of his game and got a bit more confidence. He played left wing back when he was with us, just a couple of games at centre half.

The entire Alloa defence still looks like a bombscare whenever I have seen them. That's what playing in front of a Charlie like Creer does to defenders. I wouldn't have much confidence either with him in goal.

Creer wasnt playing for Alloa when Dougie Hill was at the club, Hill just wasnt that good and it wasnt a surprise when he was freed. He failed to get a deal when he went on trial with Berwick after that too.
Had a good pedigree from when he was at Falkirk though and has clearly now found an environment where he has flourished, good luck to him.
PS Fair enough our two showings at Central Park this season were awful but Alloa and Cowden are level on points and Alloa have only conceded 9 goals more...seems like you lot must have a few bombscares too
