Has anyone ever put on a bet, totally forgot about it, then found out at a later date they have won?
Just logged into my William Hill account to spend what I thought was the final £2 in it, and noticed I have £15.40 as I bet on Braga beating Parma about a month ago! Can't even remember putting the bet on either! Not that its lots of money, but a nice boost none the less!

When the Ashes were on I put £5 on the next wicket being LBW. Needless to say it was in the middle of the night when I placed the bet and I was a bit the worse for alcohol. Found £20 in my account a week later B)

Yes and it was very enjoyable, I placed £5 on Amberleigh House @ 20/1 to win the grand national a few months before the race, I was travelling at the time of the race so I'd forgotton all about it, logged into my account and found I was £100 better off, spent about 20 minutes going through all my bets/transactions to find out where the money came from
