Units are superior to just posting in currency because if you happen to be quite rich and regularly drop £50 on a whim, someone reading the post who isn't rich might think "Gosh, £50, he must think that's a dead cert" then rush out and bet on it, which obviously - while funny - isn't very helpful. By the same token, it stops twats showing up and bragging about how much they can afford to gamble, and/or people getting sneered at for a max bet of just a few quid.

So generally when you read my posts, if I bet 1-2 units I'm figuring it as an outside shot; if I bet 10 I'm very confident in it.

For all the fancy talk, remember I'm still just "even" over the last two weeks (I would have lost my bets that I posted the week before that, too, when I started, but mercifully didn't find the time to put them on.) If things stay the same in Spain for the next 40 mins I'll be up, however B)

For a bonkers bet, go for Queens away to Gretna today, 6/1 at ladbrokes. Or if your not quite as brave 4/1 the draw at Coral. I have a cheeky fiver on the away win.
