Arsenal appear to have watched our game against Brechin as they are failing to convert their dominance in the same way.

Wigan are shit, how can they be winning at the Emirates. Fucking peach of a finish from Denny Landzaat though!

Wigan were incredibly unlucky today. Ok, Arsenal had more possesion, but Wigan had more clear-cut chances, and should have been 2-0 up before Arsenal got back in it. Although it gubbed my bet, I was jumping about like a loony when Landzat stuck that shot in.

Best song of the day from the Wigan fans;

We've won it twice,
We've won it twiiiiice,
The Auto Windscreens Trophy,
We've won it twice.

I only bet on what I know well, whcih is basically all Scottish divisions.

A few people bet on foreign games I've noticed. Do you actually know a lot about the players/teams you are betting on? If not it deffo puts the odds in favour of the bookies.

An absolute shocker for them.

In other news, I decided at the last minute not to back a "heart over head" bet on Getafe, who needless to say won 3-0 against Valencia :lol:
Ol' Hick'ry said we could take them by surprise if we didn't fire our muskets 'til we looked them in the eyes

I know quite a bit about La Liga and a small amount about the 2. Bundesliga. As such I only tip on Scotland and Spain... perhaps Germany in the future but certainly not yet.

Quote

Real Betis vs SEVILLA - 8/5 - 10 units
Levante vs RECREATIVO - 15/8 - 8 units
Barcelona vs Racing Santander - 2-0 - 11/2 - 2 units

The third bet came up while the other two did not. Overall that's a loss of 7 units for the week, which is a real shame as I was confident of 3/3 this weekend. Oh well, onwards and upwards :)
