I got a letter from William Hill the other day, saying that as I haven't used their telephone service for a while (even though I use their internet service every day), if I put on a £20 bet before February 11th they'll give me a free £20 bet (although I won't get the 'free' £20 stake returned with any winnings).
So, the plan for today is
Put £20 on Celtic winning at 2/13 for a profit of £3.08.
Put the free £20 on Celtic winning 4-0 at 9/1, for a profit of £180.
If Celtic get to 4-0, lay the free bet off on Betfair.
The worst that can happen is that Celtic don't win, and I lose £20.

Have to admit, i have Ajax as part of a treble today.
AZ beating PSV yesterday has opened it up a little more too.

If it wasn't for that Dundee reject Mackay, I would be laying off 4-0 at the moment for a guaranteed £90 profit. As it is, I'll have to settle for a £3 profit from my original bet.
What will you spend it on?
I'm just about to head down to Corals to collect my £1.50 'compensation' for my failed trixie yesterday (cheers Frankie Carroll), if we put it together we could get a couple of dances at the Olde Northwood

That sounds like a plan. B) B)
I need to start referring to the Olde Northwood as 'my local' in a couple of weeks time.

The Jolle, The Olde Northwood, a tube station, 3 bookies, 50,000 eating places, and a knocking shop above Boots, why doesn't everyone want to live here??

Great day betting wise all round for myself, Fudge and a few other Bees fans we were with.
Both of us had the £10 single on and I had £2 on 3-1 Brentford and Blackpool scored with the last kick of the ball to make it just that, couldn't believe it!
One of the other lads also had a couple of squid on Frampton FGS who is a centre half B)

Three times in the last three weeks they've done me in, and I keep going back like a moth to a flame.

£10 on at 11/2 = £65
£2 on the correct score was 50/1 = £102
So £167 in total which really makes the weekend down south near enough a freebie.
