Just studied the SFL 3rd div so far...
Really fancy Dumbarton and Montrose at 11/10 and 6/5 respectively.
Small interest in Queens Park 6/5 and Arbroath 6/4 too.

It's a longshot but Brentford are 11/2 away at Blackpool and haven't scored away in 10 games(or so I'm told by a Bees fan) so by my calculations have to at least score SOMETIME amd possibly get a win.
I'll be at the game and will shove a tenner on, if it comes up then my night is paid for, if not then I've spent enough money on the weekend a tenner won't really matter!

I was at Griffin park a few weeks ago to watch the Bees, they really are brutal!
Good price though for any game.

I don't normally tend to do them, but it''s more of a fun bet than anything. No league match outwith maybe a top premiership club v a strugler should be 11/2 so maybe it's worth a shot.

Morton 6/1 at Motherwell, considering we beat them earlier in the season in a friendly and they've sold Foran, it's not too bad a price.

Not had a proper think about it yet but the serious value games seem to be Devornvale 11/2, Dundee Utd 11/4 and Everton 5/1.

I was at the reverse fixture in August, Blackpool are a class act, Brentford are rotten. Brentford won 1-0 despite being played off the pitch, by all accounts and from what I've seen, Brentford have got worse since then, Blackpool have got better. If I didn't need all my cash for moving house in a couple of weeks, I'd give you 6/1 for Brentford to whatever stake you wanted. However, if by some miracle Brentford won on Saturday, I would quite literally be on the streets.

Yes you did, we won 3-1, it was played at Fir Park behind closed doors.

He played for 60 - 70 minutes in a closed door game this afternoon, and Manager Maurice Malpas told us today, "He played in a bounce game this afternoon, and he lasted for 60 - 70 minutes and he did well.
"He stayed on much longer than we expected as we thought he would only play part of the first half.
"He was confident at half time and we left him on but we took him off to protect himself. He now needs to build up his match fitness and ball work."
To help him with this he will get plenty of chances in the reserves as the manager added, "There are four reserve games before Christmas and he will get as much game time as he can and hopefully after that he will be there or there abouts for the first team. This is all dependant upon him not suffering any set backs."
The manager also update us on the injuries picked up at the weekend, "Willie Kinniburgh had an X-ray on Saturday and it shows he only has a dent in his cheek. He will be back at the doctors tomorrow ashe still has a bit of blurred vision.
"We hope that he will be okay for Saturday but we need the Doctor to rubber stamp that."
He also filled us in on Craigan and Elliot, "They are not as bad as first thought, with Elliot suffering the worst but we will give him to Friday before we make a decision on him. There is a better chance that Craigan will make, which is down to us taking him off as soon as it happened on Saturday."

I wouldn't touch Brentford, mate at work is a bees fan and tells me they are currently on the worst run in their history, last season they were competing all season for a play off place and after losing a couple of good players like dj campbell to birmingham and getting a new manager they have become a really poor side, they are certs to go down and will not win at blackpool*
*after saying all that they probably will win now

How many P&Bers have seen Brentford this season?! I'm another one, vs Doncaster in the cup. Think it was the week before Rosenior got sacked, they lost 1-0.
Even men with steel hearts love to see a dog on the pitch.

Apologies mate, you are right then, but after checking it, wasnt much to shout about, was a game to get Motherwells injured fit, only had 4 first team players in the team, rest was reserve players, but all the same, i hold my hands up you were spot on.
Ps good luck for rest of season, except saturday mind, ma old man is a Morton fan, should be fun on saturday night.

£10 double this week;
Sheffield Wed v Preston 11/8
Stoke v Southend 7/2
Pays £106.87
Been keeping an eye on Southend, they seem to have hit a bit of form since Christmas.
One defeat in 6 (against Derby), wins at Birmingham and Cardiff and a home win against West Brom. I reckon they are worth a punt at 7/2. Of course, I could be proved spectacularly wrong come 4.45 on Saturday!

Not had a proper look at the lower leagues in England yet but Man U and Arsenal are both appealing to me just now.

I'll be having a ten spot on Brentford as well at that price for a laugh.
I reckon the AKL will bring them some luck.

QoS (4/6) to beat Cowdenbeath at home
Man Utd (10/11) to beat Spurs away
Hearts (8/13) to beat the Fifers away
Prices courtesy of Hills.
