Thismorning I had my coupon all planned, £5 treble on East Fife 7/4, Queen's Park 7/2 and Elgin City at 11/8

Needless to say I never got round to putting it on and was gutted when I heard that Elgin had won, which means I lost out on a wee mid-month windfall, I hate gambling :angry:

Two of my worst blunders;

Last December I think it was, all week I was convinced Stenny would beat Berwick at Shielfield, they were 2/1 at Ladbrokes.
Went down on the Saturday morning with £100 to stick on Stenny, and at the last minutes changed it to a £25 doubles and trebles, on Stenny and two other teams.
Stenny were the only team that won.
Turned a £300 return into zero.

Worst blunder ever (though it doesn't count as it was on random numbers).
Summer of '99, i was gambling like a maniac, and went in to bet on 49's.
I had two slips written out, £50 on one number (No. 3), and £1 canadian on 5 numbers (3, 17, 29, 32, 35). I decided to put on the single bet as I had a better chance of getting a return.
3, 17, 32 and 35 all came out.
I picked up £130, if I'd put on the other bet i would have picked up £8,903.

End of reminisence.

If they threatened to physically attack me, I would STRONGLY ADVISE them not to do so. If they threatened to physically attack a young lady across the aisle I would VERY STRONGLY ADVISE them not to do so and attempt to place myself between them.

Yesterday I put East Stirling to win, doh!

Had a bet on Swindon to win 2-0 yesterday, Swindon scored a 3rd in the 88th minute (this was with a centre back in goal due to not having a sub keeper after the keeper got injured after 85mins)

Betting on Oldham to beat Leyton Orient. I think, IIRC Leyton Orient had the most rank-rotten away record in England. Something like played 8, won 1 , lost 7, scored 3 conceded 12 (or something like that :angry: ) then as soon as I bet on the home side (Oldham) who were previously dynamite at home, Orient win. :angry:

Yesterday i thought Toulouse Express had a decent Each Way chance in the 3.05 at Carlisle. I intended sticking £5 Each Way on it but when i looked at its price i saw 66\1 so i thought no chance and ended up having £10 on the Jonjo O'Neil trained Tony McCoy ridden favourite Avalon. Avalon was nowhere Toulouse Express finished placed which would have returned £87.50. Was furious with myself. To make matters worse i later found out Jonjo O'Neil had trained 6 winners on the day and Tony McCoy had ridden 3 of them. The joys of gambling!
