Well done to the team and the coach of the Shire !

That altered the shape of the team and gave Shire more space to operate in midfield. Paul Stewart stepped up his game in the second half as did one or two others, although we needed Jordan Smith's own goal to give us the belief we could take something from the game.
If Berwick's forwards can get some self-belief they swill be a very good team. They seem better off without the Stenhousemuir Five.

Meeeeeeooooooooowwwwwww. That's very catty indeed. Sounds like your victory over EF has gone to ya head mate. Why are you making your boasts, put your money where your mouth is, with Robertson in charge you'll certainly win feck all we might not win anything this year but we'll finish a damn sight higher than you and on about half the money your throwing around too.

I bet the ones that are doing ok will say yes we are looking good the manager is good the players are decent and the rest will say the opposite.
Also like someone to name five players in the division that you'd turn up every week to watch knowing they will entertain you.
At least Gretna brought some flair

What games have you actually watched this season?

if the guy pays his money and watches the games he is entitled to his opinion.
as i have posted before, a lot of the fans on here think there teams are better than they really are although the performances of some third division sides in the cup suggests the standard of scottish football is deterorating on the whole.

I think your way off the mark stating the standard is not much better than the juniors because what I've seen of junior football this season, the standard is rapidly declining. I watched Bathgate Thistle a few weeks ago and they were woeful. All big money grabbers humbled by lowly Armadale. The standard over in the West isn't much better either.
You make a few valid points but lack of money is playing a big part in this subject. I know we trimmed our wage structure and perhaps a few more clubs could take a leaf out of our book.
As regards Gretna bringing some flare to the third division, that point is correct and so they should when they were playing one player almost as much in a week as what some clubs were paying their entire squad.

Don't you BOUGHT some flair. Not that I would include Steve Tosh in that category. Buying flair's easy. Gretna can even afford to have it fitted
As for Div 3, don't see any basis for that. It's never been great. On the other hand, as recent cup games (eg wins by Div 3 teams) and the progress of Cowden suggest, it's not that different from Div 2 either.
