Got yous worried. Ha ha. :D :P :D :P :D It would be great though. Might mean we would get a bloody win at Somerset Park. Been there around a dozen times, and the best I've seen is a draw!

A wee tip for you Ayr boys though, WHEN DL gets his old job back at the Honest Men, please make sure the drinks cabinet is well stocked. A happy manager is a good manager so they say...........

There is an old boy (with bad BO) that works on the checkouts in Asda at Heathfield, he is DL's double (apart from the specs)
Big purple nose and everything
Here for a year, we're only here for a fourth year !!

I wouldn't bet on that.
It's my solo party, it's my body, and if I choose to abuse it with my lifestyle and my music
What the f**k! I can't lose! It's my life! Why is it I can't keep you far enough away?

I would. DL is finished imo and will not be seen again as a manager at this level. He was lucky to get the job at RR and that club are now regretting appointing him.

He'd been found out.

Asda's utterly crap. I wouldn't shop there if I was paid.
Ol' Hick'ry said we could take them by surprise if we didn't fire our muskets 'til we looked them in the eyes

He was found out 4 years before we sacked him, but i still think he'll be back at Somerset in some capacity. It's only natural for the calamity that is Ayr United to re-employ him.

I thought Money took over as manager while DL took on some kind of advisory role. Might be wrong though, my memory's not the best!

I think Money was appointed Director of Football when DL stepped down to assistant. Money's duties included first team manager.
If you've got to be told by someone then it's got to be me

Ok, thanks. I couldn't remember. We'll need to come up with some other title for him then, for his big "homecoming"!

I suggest "Matchday host".

He can sit and get pished with the sponsors and brag about himself. That ought to go down well.

It's a job he would revel in

Course if you were paying him and giving him free booze you would soon be skint

We already are, we would have to rely on the charity of the breweries to be able to afford that appointment.
