The best display I've seen was from Pat Clarke but we have several decent players in his position who are as good and maybe better. A good left back would be best and Devine from Stirling would have been my pick but he does not seem to be getting a game this year - is he still there or injured?

Having not played Morton or Cowdenbeath I can't comment on them (though that doesn't seem to stop some people on here commenting on teams and players they've not seen) so i would say Kevin Byers at Brechin. Good passer, very skillful, contributes goals and ugly as feck!

He's injured, had foot problems and also a groin injury.

The best performer against us I've seen this season is Paul McMullan of Stranraer. If I was going to sign anyone though it would be a big centre-half or another forward. Probably one of the Morton two centre backs or Paul McGowan, going by what I've heard he seems to be very good.

Gary Smith - experience and quality to sort our defence out.
It's my solo party, it's my body, and if I choose to abuse it with my lifestyle and my music
What the f**k! I can't lose! It's my life! Why is it I can't keep you far enough away?

Agree 100%. Too good for Morton - surpised Gretna didn't come in for him at some point.

Although Byers (if fit) would add some quality in the centre of the park.

I like D Smith but we have McMullan.

Stevenson has probably been the best players I've seen against us this season.

Any of the Cowdnebeath strikers would do.

David Hamilton is also a quality player at this level.

Weatherson is a good utility player who can do a decent job almost anywhere in the team but he is far from our strongest defender. The twin centre halfs, Greacen and Harding have been excellent for 18 months now and are most responsible for our good defensive record.

Stevenson is a great player but playing beside Chris Miller and Paul McGowan the combination is deadly. They seem to bring the best out of each other.

Our players are all rubbish. Therefore, nobody should bother trying to sign any of them! Seriously, the best player at Cowdenbeath is Morgaro Gomis. He stands out even amongst our good team. I am sure most opposition managers have noticed him.

I notice that 3 of the players mentioned so far (Byers, Clarke, McMullan) are all ex-Rovers players.

I always liked Byers as a player.

Life is good.

out of interest does weatherson ever play up front anymore or is he always stationed at the back?

Excellent player while at palmerston and provided a bit of brilliance on many an ocassion to win us vital games.

Liked the look of Scott Dalziel when he played against us. Like Templeman but with ability and without the exorbitant transfer fee. :P

He started as a centre forward for us but hit a dry spell and when McInally arrived injuries and suspensions meant we were light on defenders and he stood in at centre half and did well. He then became a permanent defender but, if we are losing, he will often go upfront.

Byers is indeed a fantastic player. He is one of the players who haven't really featured much this season due to a knee problem and I fancy us to cause some damage once he, and at least a couple of our first choice defenders come back from injury.
Oooooh Garry Brady....

No he's not.

He missed three training sessions due to being on holiday in pre-season and was fit for the start of the season. He played in a couple of games and hurt his groin. He missed one game due to this, but was fit for the Raith game.
AM stated in the paper he was unfit (although he was/is fit) and Devine has been left out the squad since, despite shifting Paul Hay (right footed) to the left back position on Saturday.I will let you make up your own minds...

Giving Alloa a 12 point lead and pipping them to the title on the last day of the season- PRICELESS!!
