As the two 'big' teams :D in Division 2, which players from the other shite in the division  do you think Raith/Morton will take out of football hell in the January sales?

I hope we (Raith) get:

From the wee team next to Lochgelly..........
The French n.o 7 (had a shit hot game against us, and scored today)
Dalziel (the striker, not the 'manager')
Paateleinen and his big bro' as manager
Pat Clarke back

From the Bino's......
The Slovakian dude.

I'll reserve judgement on the other wee teams as we play them. ;)

Who do you think we should take off the wee teams hands?

But these boys will all be under contract and a fee would be payable if you wanted them. And Rovers are seriously skint.

There's a few players I would like to pad out our squad a bit but I have not seen anyone so far who is better than we already have.

Our keeper is not the best we have ever had but he's amongst the best in this league and better than most.

I would take a decent left back (can't think from where) and maybe a central defender for cover but we already have the best defence.

Our midfield is as good as anyones, including the wee French guy at Cowdenbeath who was totally anonymous against us in the Challenge cup.

I would'nt mind someone like Vareille or Moore or Connelly for cover although none of them would get in the team just now.
I plan on living forever! So far, so good!

Well you've already had Paul McManus and Ian Harty from us. As a big team, please divulge what steps you are taking to improve their game?

Ha-ha. We might not be as skint as you think...........very shortly :P ;)

Bet the prospect of Mixu coming to Starks is making all you wannabee Ballingarians from Cowdengelly feel sick, eh!

We won't need him, you can settle down. We will have Levein, we will have loadsa money, when the 'investments' are made. ;)

Stirling's left-back if he's as good as he was the last couple of seasons.

Nobody else is instantly springing to mind. I fully realise that there are good players at other clubs but, left-back aside, I can't think of a position that we drastically need to strengthen. Scott McLaughlin's looking better in the "engine room" (God how I hate that Mark Lawrensonism of a cliche, but I can't think of anything better) and if Weatherson goes off the boil at right back (as he's threatened to do once or twice) he can be played elsewhere with Kevin Finlayson taking his place.
Ol' Hick'ry said we could take them by surprise if we didn't fire our muskets 'til we looked them in the eyes

That's right, forgot all about him.

I also wouldn't mind a left-sided midfielder so we could try Jim out on the right, although we're running out of room for all our excellent creative players :D

Only seen him as a trialist and for his (admittedly good) ten minute spell on Saturday, we'll see how he gets on.
