Saturday's game at Central Park looks like being a cracker. We'll have two free-scoring teams having a real go at each other. Morton, as the full-time team with plenty of Second Division experience and favourities for the championship, will be expected to win but I wouldn't put money on it. I think both teams deserve credit for their attacking style, and I hope there's a big crowd to watch it.
Cowden V Morton
Looking very tasty

Depends really how you look at how we're playing our game.
Not conceded a league goal yet, still scoring plenty.
I dare say this wont be the case next saturday evening, But heres to hoping
It does look set to be a cracker. Just hope the away team manage to take away 3 points

Think i will be coming to this game, Raith are away and this looks like being a cracker (would be tempting to come even if Raith were playing at home

It'll depend on how many fans Morton bring through, Frank. Because it's the 1st v 2nd in the league, I think there should be a big away support. I'd expect more than 1000 at the Second Division's match of the day.

This will be my first away game of the season - really looking forward to it. Cowden will have something to prove after Morton's pure ownage on Tuesda, but the 'Ton were, again, superb today, so we'll be right up for it.

I think Morton will bring quite a big support due to the way the team are playing at present and the fact its the top of the table clash.
If Morton win this one we'll take a lot of catching. The difference between this season (so far) and last season is that last year we were dominating matches and not really scoring. This year we look as though we can score every time we go up the park. We have been solid at the back for over a year now and the core of that are our two centre backs Greacen abd Harding who imho are the best defenders I have seen so far in this division. No league goals conceded so far speaks for itself.

We should have a big support at Central Park next Saturday. Even though it's so early in the season, it's a big game for both teams. Can't wait for this one.

If Morton bring a big support, we could be looking at a crowd close to 1500 for this one. Would a large travelling support for Morton be around the 600 -700 mark?

This sort of tie last season and the season before what have saw Morton bring 800-1000 but this season our support is down, even our home gates are down about 400-500, I reckon after today's results we should bring around 700-800 to Central Park.

Given the hype, it'll probably end 0-0.
Mother played by Peter Beardsley, Father by John Cleese.

That is about to change, Tonsilitis. Both teams will score on Saturday. How it will all finish I don't know, but I hope it's a feast of attacking football for both sets of fans. Full-time Morton's superior fitness and experience should tell.

It might be close or even a draw but 0-0? These two teams have scored 31 goals between them in the league so far............. 0-0? I don't think so!!

I'm in two minds as to whether to go to Cowden vs Morton or Stenny vs Queens Park this Saturday.
How much is it to get in to Central Park? I wasn't at the cup tie as I was working.

Charged £10 so far this season, can't see any change next week even if we're playing a big team

If you come to this game, you are all but guaranteed a goalfest, or at the very least some sweet attacking football.

5-5 thriller is on the cards, has all the makings of a classic.
Cowden score goals but let a good few in so anything less than 4 goals in the game and I'll be surprised.

Would make a change to what I've been watching so far this season. 31 goals between both teams in the first 5 games would suggest a good game in store.
Morton have to lose a goal at some point.....

If we're going to lose a goal anytime soon, it's going to be on Saturday, indeed.
However, we'll have 3 of our 4 first choice defenders (as we did today), so who knows B)

Random question for the Cowden boys but is Gomes still playing well? I thought he was outstanding when you humped us the other week and on that showing is far too good for this division.

Against Rovers he was the best player on the park in my opinion, then again playing against our midfield isnt exactly the hardest thing in the world to do.

is gomes the black guy who wore the number 10 shirt against us last tuesday? cos he was bollocks in that game (as were practically all the cowden players, actually).
still, i'm sure it will be a cracking game next saturday and i really can't wait for it. i reckon morton will bring about 600 through - any more than that would be phenomenal, but then again we are a big team so who knows
dunno if i'd make morton out and out favourites as the cowden fans on here seem to think though i think we probably would edge it in the bookies. can't see this one being a draw, personally, and i quite fancy a 3-2 scoreline though i couldn't say who to ...

Morton will bring 400 maximum..
Cowden will have 800 maximum
Add in 287 neutrals and the crowd will be 1487.
Cowden have scored more goals than any team and Morton have lost fewer thann anyone. 3-3?
