Talbot Bing
To any prospective managers looking for a class upfront player then you won't find a better available one at the minute in Robert Love. TBH I can't understand why he wasn't given a better chance with us so if anyone doubts his abilities it won't come from any Talbot fans Good luck to the wee fella ,great effort he gave for us and glad he left with a haul of medals for his hardwork. andy25
Maybe the fact he didn't play more games had a lot to do with him not being able to make training for a large part of the season .
Ayr Victoria
Good player but I feel he looks like a wee boy whenever I've seen him play. I think Tommy likes big strong powerful forwards and obviously Robert wasn't that.

Albino Rover
How old is Bobby? Just checked and he's 27. Still plenty of time for him to have another crack at the senior leagues if he fancied it.
The Moonster
How old is Bobby? 27. By the sounds of things his job is stopping him from attending training on week nights these days. I'm informed he has no idea where/if he'll be playing next year. Girvan have been in contact apparently but not sure he fancies it.

Nock Nock
Hes a far better player than that big diddy Anson yous have signed. Lovey in his first season at Cumnock was excellent, however his second was rotten to put it mildly. He left Cumnock to go to Talbot despite the fact that there is a mural of his father behind the goals at Townhead Park recognising him for scoring the winning goal in a Junior Cup final. Lovey's father will always be fondly remembered at Townhead Park. It's a real shame the same can't be said for his son.

He only left to further his career not to get one over you lot. You don't hold any weight with yer remarks am sure many Cumnock fans would have him back in a heartbeat. Although can't see him taking such a big step backwards like going back to you.

Please enlighten me as to my "st** remark"? Before the debate commences there is no argument that Lovey leaves Talbot with medals. However he left Cumnock to go to a club to be fourth / fifth choice striker as he had little prospect of shifting a well established strike force. Not ideal if he was looking "to further his career". Milliken, Wilson, Shankland and Gillies all had vastly more game time until the last few weeks of the season. I for one wouldn't like him back at Townhead, but it's not up to me. Do you know how his dad derek love felt about his son leaving Cumnock to join Talbot ? Obviously derek love was a firm favourite at Beith too and I know the passion he had for Cumnock and it was huge and correctly so after firing home the scottish cup winner in 1989. The remark about being remembered fondly and comparing him to his dad. Am sure if it was yourself you wouldn't want to be judged on your two dads past efforts. Besides a good friend of mine follows you lot and highly rates and likes him so I think you'll find not all cumnock fans think like you.
